My group needed a home base for a cactus to clouds hiking base camp. This location was within 5 miles of the trailhead and had a functioning spa for post hike recovery. The home was well appointed and plenty of beds to cover the crew.

We stayed here with a group of 8 girls, and had a great time! There was everything we could need in the kitchen. The pool was really nice, and we enjoyed lounging about throughout the day!

Perfect house for our yearly get together.
Lots of room to spread out both inside and out. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely. Close to downtown Palm Springs and hiking trails. Julie was great to work with.

5 star potential, but honestly we did not enjoy our stay here. We have stayed in Palm Springs a dozen times, we know about the city's strict noise ordinance, and have never had a problem. However, according to the owner there is a "PITA" neighbor, therefore during our stay our normal talking in the backyard was not allowed. The noise ordinance people came (presumably from the neighbor) and said our talking was fine and we were in compliance. The owner asked that we stay inside after 9:45 on Saturday night then later requested that if we were outside past 9:45 that we speak very softly. Unfortunately, with multiple texts about noise (talking) and cars in the driveway (6, as allowed) we never felt like we could just relax and enjoy the nice property.

Araby Cove was perfect for our getaway. Plenty of space for kids, teens and adults. Close to hiking trails and a short drive to shops and downtown. The outdoor kitchen was a wonderful feature. Julie communicated well and responded quickly. All in all, a great experience.

My family and I rented this house for spring break and it couldn’t have been better. Our kids played in the pool every chance they got and we were able to go hiking right from the house. The trails were beautiful and the neighborhood really is the best in all of Palm Springs. Nestled up against the foothills, it’s quiet and peaceful with amazing access to everything.
Julie was excellent as a host and the house was the most well equipped of any we’ve ever stayed in. Pool toys for the kid, puzzles and games galore and an awesome kitchen where we cooked almost every meal. If we go back to plan springs we definitely know where we will be staying.

This property was perfect for our group of 8 friends, all celebrating our 50th this year. We each had our own bed and there were plenty of bathrooms within property. The outdoor kitchen was a fun bonus. The BEST part of this property is the location- it's 10 minutes from the airport (and you do not hear any airplane noise) and you can literally hike right from your doorstep. Julie was a very attentive property owner and got back to me right away with any questions- for example, the very important question of "where can I find the best public pickleball courts?" All in all, if you are a large family or group of friends, this property would be perfect for your PS getaway.

This property has everything you need for lots of people. The pool and hot tub is great and there is space to play and eat at a large table outside including a kitchen.
We were 9 people including children age 3 to 10. It was wonderful.

This was by far one of the best experiences ever!
First off, the host was amazing and provided the most phenomenal service to us. She was so kind and was readily available to accommodate. Julie was easily reachable and had record fast response times and was always willing to help in any way possible.
The property itself was also absolutely gorgeous, had amazing views, great pool deck with a pool and jacuzzi (both of which can be heated), had a fully equipped kitchen with every single kitchen tool and gadget you could think of, an outdoor kitchen as well, a full game closet, great TV setup in the living room, nice bathrooms, plenty of space and furniture all throughout the house.
Could not have asked for better and will definitely be booking with Julie again in the future!

The property feels nicely tucked away in the canyons of Palm Springs. Nice cozy feeling. The beach pool is AMAZING, definitely one of the highlights. Nature feels vey present; we got to watch hummingbirds during the day and bats overhead at dusk. Julie was extremely nice and communicative, and even offered to mail back an item that someone forgot to pack when we left! Highly recommended.

The kitchen and adjacent area is well stocked with everything you can imagine or ever need for cooking/bbq. The entire house is roomy and comfortable. Bathrooms stocked with soaps, shampoos, hair dryers, etc. TV’s and Wi-Fi throughout. Many lovely areas to enjoy, inside and out. Very comfortable and roomy. Eleven of us, six adults and five kids…. Never felt cramped. Plenty of room. Stunning views of the valley and adjacent mountains. Palm trees everywhere. The pool is perfect, especially for children. Outdoor kitchen was super handy while enjoying the backyard.

Lots of room and well equipped. Great pool for kids! The owner lives locally and is quick to communicate and accommodate questions and concerns. We'd rent from them anytime!

Wonderful time in this house with my family.
Great outdoor with more than enough kitchen and bedrooms staff.
Couple suggestions:
Pool is too shallow for adult swimming, only 4 feet. Kids loved it though.
Kitchen eating furniture very old and noisy. Must be replaced or repaired.
All inside doors including bedroom doors and kitchen door need a lot of oiling. Lots of squeaking and noises.
We didn’t use the oven. It is antique with no instruction on how to use it. Very pretty though.

Julie was awesome! She waited at the house for the rental crib to be delivered and set up. We weren’t sure how to operate the spa, so we texted her and she came immediately to show us. We would definitely stay here again!

It's a really cool house in a nice neighborhood. We had a few hiccups with the pool heater breaking, but Julie was able to get a replacement out and installed early Saturday morning and the pool was hot before lunch.

We enjoyed the backyard so much, it was nice to spend the weekend just relaxing back there! Not meant for more than 8 adults (lots of smaller beds) but fit perfect for our group of 8. Fully stoked kitchen! Would recommend especially since we attended a wedding in the same neighborhood so it was perfect location for us!

Do not stay here if you want to get in trouble for playing quiet music outside on your iPhone. The women who owns this property does not make your experience comfortable or welcoming. She will try and charge you additional cleaning fees even if you leave it spotless. Take before and after photos of your stay.

I could not say enough good things about Araby Cove. We recently stayed here for a family vacation and we had beds for everyone! The house is fully stocked with just about everything you can think of. It felt like we were just visiting family. Some might be discouraged about the no music policy but we appreciated the opportunity to have meaningful conversations with our family members instead. This neighborhood is beautiful and the quite makes it much more relaxing and enjoyable. We were a little concerned about our kids being a little too loud laughing and playing in he pool but we managed. We felt safe and comfortable. The pool has a beach like entrance and its only 4ft deep which the kids totally loved because they felt safe and had an amazing time playing in the sun all day. We will be back! Thank you to Mrs. Julie for allowing us to make a memorable family vacation in your lovely home.

This was a fantastic property for a group getaway, and Julie was an excellent and responsive host. The house was stocked with towels, basic kitchen supplies, and plenty of other amenities. This property had everything we could have possibly needed for the weekend, and it looks even better in person than it does in the pictures. I highly recommend staying in this desert oasis for a group getaway to Palm Springs!

This home has everything you need! The house is located near downtown, but the actual address is at a nice quiet neighborhood. The linen closet was nicely stocked up with pool towels. The house was very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with appliances, utensils, etc. They have a closet filled up w/ board games. The pool was perfect for all ages, even babies! Julie was a very good host, she always communicated from the very beginning. I never ever leave reviews but I was very impressed and my family & I really enjoyed our stay. P.S. you CAN NOT play music. This is not the homeowner’s rule, this is the city’s regulation.
