Nestled in Napa Valley, this lovely cottage for R 3,667 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Windhaven Cottage sits atop knoll, on 5 acres of land, overlooking the eastern hillsides and the vineyards of the Carneros wine region. Windhaven Cottage is an excellent stay for a couple to celebrate an anniversary, spend a honeymoon or just get away. Our home is also on the property. (TOT#408) Major wineries are within a 5 to 10-minute drive. (Viansa, Cline, Gundlach Bundschu, Buena Vista, Sebastiani, Ravenswood just to name a few.) The deck off the back of the cottage offers complete privacy and a wonderful place to enjoy morning coffee with the rising eastern sun, relax with afternoon tea, or celebrate the day with evening wine and cheese. The views are marvelous over the top of the oaks and vineyards. On cool evenings relax by the fire and enjoy music, snuggle up, view a movie or sit back with a good book. Two Morgan horses graze in our pastures. See them on our website The area is safe and quiet for evening or morning walks. Walk a mile or take on four. Remember to check with us even if the calendar is full. Cancellations occur or have us put you on a waiting list.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is gorgeous and the views are incredible. The cottage is very nice and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches like a pint of milk in the fridge (we’ve never gotten that before) and the flashlights on both nightstands. We had a busy weekend and didn’t spend as much time on-site as we should have. I look forward to coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views and we got to make use of the tennis court and hot tub. Tons of hummingbirds in the trees was a lovely surprise. Close to everything.

It was perfect to have coffee in the morning and have wine in the evening, out on the deck, then sit in the hot tub for a bit. Excellent local advice given by host on their favorite restaurants in the area. We stayed for 5 nights, and would do it again in a heart beat.

Bob and Wendy are really nice people. This place is private, secure, and special. The views are great with property perched on a hill, we could see sunrise and sunset. The cabin is right next to the property owners' home, but they are very welcoming people and nice to visit with. Only stayed there two nights, but wish we had booked longer.

Bob and Wendy did an amazing job explaining their property. It’s very central to all the places you want to visit but allows for a very quiet and serene evening after dinner. The view is amazing. The cabin is a home away from home. We will definitely be staying here again!

We enjoyed a very relaxing getaway at the cottage. Did some golfing and hiking and loved coming home and taking a soak in the hot tub (with amazing views). Cooked a few meals there and found the kitchen to be well appointed. The cottage is very close to Sonoma Square for shopping and dining. Bob and Wendy are lovely hosts.

The view!!! We came to Sonoma to tour some Napa wineries, but we could have been happy spending the whole time on the deck taking in the view, and dipping in the hot tub. The hosts were wonderful, and very helpful with the check-in process. I would definitely stay here again!

The hosts were fantastic thinking through all of our needs and welcoming us warmly. Cottage is well appointed. Could cook full meals on-site if wanted. Full kitchen, TVs, hot tub, the works! Very well located to visit wineries. Ideal for a couple or small family getaway.

My husband and I stayed at the property for a short part of our honeymoon. Everything was just as advertised. We enjoyed the location and the cottage was perfect for the two of us. The views were amazing!! We loved waking up to have our coffee on the deck and then using the hot tub at night with some wine! Wendy and Bob were fantastic hosts and we loved when Mack visited us too!! If we are ever to be in Sonoma again, we would absolutely stay here again.

This is a charming cottage in the heart of wine country. Everything was in order and clean. The property is secure and private. It's a great place to relax. Easy access to Sanoma. This place made for a perfect honeymoon.

We had a delightful stay at Windhaven Cottage in Sonoma. The views were spectacular and the property was beautiful and relaxing. Bob and Wendy, the property owners, were very friendly and accommodating, and they provided us with everything we could possibly need. The shuffle board court and hot tub were added bonuses. We will definitely visit again!

Unfortunately we were only able to enjoy the beautiful grounds and surrounding property after we got of an 8 and 10 hour work shift but this cottage is to die for. It’s very private and quiet. The owners are fabulous and there to help if needed. We are going back next month to try and get more time in at the cottage, maybe even enjoy the hot tub. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here. We will continue to keep coming back.

Windhaven Cottage was perfect for my wife and I on our wine tasting excursion to Sonoma. It is a cozy cabin with a perfect deck for beginning a day with a cup of coffee to ending a day with a fabulous glass of Sonoma wine. The property is 10 to 15 minutes to Sonoma City Square, restaurants, tasting rooms and a Whole Foods store. The property is beautifully landscaped with great views. The host and hostess are super. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Lovely, peaceful spot with a pretty cool game setup over the tennis court. Pickle ball, shuffle board and basketball. We loved the privacy and the peaceful evenings. Hope to be back one day.
