Disappointed following our recent anniversary dinner at your restaurant on March 9, 2024. Unfortunately, our special evening was repeatedly interrupted by an unexpected guest – a mouse. As we celebrated our anniversary, another couple and ourselves witnessed a mouse scurrying across the floor several times, which was quite surprising and unsettling. Despite assurances from your staff that the hotel manager would be informed, no one reached out

Beautiful view, very nice, large and clean room which met my expectations. Luxurious bathroom. Ordered room service for dinner and breakfast, which were both excellent.

The little things were missing... not enough toiletries. Only two regular Tea Bags, no coffee. One bathrobe. I would expect a bit better / a little more in this department from a 5 star hotel.

Location is great, staff were excellent.

Disappointed with cleanliness; greasy handprint on bed head, grime around toilet seat. Not terrible but not expected at this price point. Woken up a few times with shower noise from surrounding rooms.

Location, amenities such as swimming pool, gym and tennis court. Lovely reception / foyer and bar area.

We had a twin room with an additional rollaway but no table or chairs were removed to help with this, so the room was very crowded.

Room service and housekeeping wasn’t the best. The rubbish bins are small, the room tv didn’t work properly 2-3 times while we were there for 3 days only!

Rooms and bathrooms looking a little tired . Didnt have breakfast, but seems expensive.

The breakfast was exceptional. I would stay here again just for the breakfast! Impeccable service and choice. Our beds and pillows were so comfortable. I also loved the location with Chin Chin, Lune, Culture Kings, Hosier Lane, Flinders Station, free trams and Bourke St shopping all so close and easy to walk to.

We could hear the plumbing from the other rooms at night - could tell when next door/upstairs were running a bath or having a shower, quite high pitched.

I found staff completely disinterested. Which was a shame. Stayed at this property many times over the years. First time I was disappointed with the staff.

Breakfast good. Pillows good once exchanged for firm. Room service good. Driveway staff very variable in competence.

Driveway staff failed to remove my luggage from the boot of taxi from airport. It was lost for some time. I checked in during the interim and staff asked if there was anything they could do to compensate me for this stressful error. I stayed that a room upgrade would be appropriate, This was rejected. A bottle of wine or sparkling water we’re offered, neither of which I accepted. I asked to speak with manager at which point my luggage arrived. Not a great start to my visit.

It was as advertised, it was clean, comfortable, and the facilities were amazing.

I can’t really fault anything. If I had to fault anything, the TV was hard to figure out, but I’m stretching! We weren’t there to watch TV.

Location was fantastic for what we needed it for. Pity for the weather on the Saturday.

We had a tiny, poky room this time. All our other stays, room has been bigger. Took our daughter this time with a portacot, so room felt even smaller. Also room was very very hot, even with temp set to the lowest setting. The whole hotel felt airless and stuffy. Something we haven’t noticed before.

My whole stay was extremely enjoyable.

The location is great and most of the staff are good. The breakfast is excellent.

When we checked in were we asked if we would like to "upgraded" to a higher, quiet floor for $40 extra above the Booking.com rate. We did this only to find we are plonked right in the middle of a wedding party that had comings and goings all night - a major party in the room next door until 0330. The the next nights a conference was in town and they had noisy rooms all around us until 1330. The night after that another noisy group. The so call upgrade was a rip off - all the hotel was doing was to keep guests on same floors to fill those floors to make it more efficient to service the rooms. Then when the laptop I was using for a major presentation died I asked about the Business Centre only to be told that "we don't have computers there" - in a major business hotel!?? They did say that the Club Room had computers - but oh! your room does not allow you access to it... After a few hours the front desk came back and said I could use the Club - but only after 1100 and before 1800 as she told me that I might eat the breakfast or canapes that I was not entitled to... How is this for customer service? If I had known the Business Centre did not have a computer I would not have booked this hotel. And finally, when I wanted cup of tea in the room there were no coffee cups From now on it is back to the Sofitel and all Hyatts are off my (and my company's) list for the future.

Very comfortable - friendly staff. Made to feel welcome.

There was no shower gel in the shower. It was empty. I asked for a wake up call - never came. Luckily I made it for my early flight.

Firstly the two gentlemen at valet were very helpful and welcoming. The staff on front desk and staff in the Collins kitchen for breakfast were just so incredibly delightful and were very welcoming. It was a pleasant experience no question about it.

We were really pleased with our stay and upgrade to the room. Nothing to list as a dislike.

Dirty, old and noisy. Renovation overdue. Dirty carpet. Stain and multiple hair in the bath tub. The most interesting thing is that when we complained about the noisy room, we were offered to downgrade the room with no apology or follow up. Interesting! That’s new! Never had this before! Well at least one thing not old about this hotel.
