Ideal location to go exploring from. Staff were great and couldn't do enough for their guests. Good choice at breakfast and food was good overall. Enjoyed using the pool facilities. We all had a treatment in the salon - definitely worth a visit. We had a lovely week at the hotel and would be happy to return. Plenty of parking.
Some of the decor is a little tired but improvements are being made to the hotel generally. This wouldn't put us off returning though. Everywhere was clean. My friend's accessible bathroom was great but the bed was a little high which made it hard for her to get in and out. Lifts in areas with stairs made it possible for her to get to the pool/treatment area which was great but the long corridors would benefit from handrails for those with mobility difficulties although there were seats at regular intervals.

Breakfast was ok. Always seemed to be an issue getting tea & toast.
Better dinner menu choice.

Old and traditional. Swimming pool and changing rooms were by good. Bed and room was nice and a good selection of teas and coffees. Tv was good. Plenty of car parking although it wasn’t obvious how to get in from the car park. It was quiet so was able to get a good nights sleep.
Pool was cold and jacuzzi wasn’t hot enough. Breakfast price was £18 although it was included, I wouldn’t pay £18 for it, it was too basic. Staff were slow. We arrived with 3 other couples, and due to rooms not being ready we waited 30 minutes in the reception before we were even seen to. The staff asked if we wanted to book in for dinner, however we had just got there and had no idea what was on the menu. The view from our room was of another building not the best when you’re surrounded by mountains and greenery.
