Convenient for airport

We booked last minute, and choose this hotel for proximity to Bristol Ariport, especially because of the offer of shuttle pick up, but our experience was more than awful. Only bonus was that we were not charged the 10 pound fee. Travelling with two children, a family room with fridge was a must for us, although the room was smaller than expected, and it didn´t have a bath, over all it was good. Breakfast was good. We did get an apology letter offering a discount on any future stays, nice gesture but not planning to repeat the experience, maybe taking 20% off our evening meal would have felt like a true recognition of our displeasure.

Shuttle service was terrible, it took an hour and a half for someone to pick us up, for what was a 15 minute journey on return to the hotel, the driver practically skidded to a stop at the hotel, dumped our luggage on the road and then sped off with us hardly having got out of the van. I then had to push a pram and two large cases into the reception area. For the price and star rating, I'd expected better service. The room was small and not practical once they pulled out the sofa bed. My biggest upset was a silly one on any other day, but having travelled all day, waited in the wind and cold for 1.5hrs, unpacked, fed everyone, and put them to bed. All I wanted was a nice cup of tea, only to find not a single teaspoon, called reception and it took them 20 minutes to bring a spoon, 2 kitkats as an apology.

Perfect for early flight. Clean, comfortable and the air con works!

Parking quite pricey for an overnight stay.

The evening meal was good.

Having paid £166 for the room, on arrival we were informed of an additional £22 to park our car overnight. In all honesty, I thought this additional charge was unfair. The room was described as accessible which wasn't made clear at time of purchase. I also made enquiries about ordering a taxi to take us to a local public house to meet with friends who were staying there. I was provided with one taxi number however, a taxi was not available for about an hour.
