Comfy quiet great views

The staff, all Asian, were really excellent. The food was generally good and the rooms were extremely spacious and well-furnished. with great views over the loch towards Skye.

The room we had on the first night was at the end of the block with no internal access door into the hotel and having to go outside to reach the hotel entrance on a wet and windy night was very unpleasant - the price for that room should have been less than the other rooms. The Smart TV in the rooms were very difficult to operate and without an instruction booklet; very often the TV was off because of a 'weak or no signal'.

Our room had great view of the water and was quite spacious! We stayed here for 2 nights and for visiting Skye. Parking was available and staff was helpful. Overall a great stay, but definitely more pricely than places we’ve been with similar quality.

Lovely location looking over to Skye. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was modern, clean with a good shower.

Windows didn’t close properly causing wind to howl through them and water pooled on windowsill during rain showers. Radiators couldn’t be turned on. Having a door to an interconnecting room, though locked, meant we could clearly hear the next door occupants. Breakfast buffet was of a poor standard: tepid cooked food, no fresh yoghurt or berries, only yogurt in pots and sliced apple in juice, no savoury options for toast such as peanut butter or marmite. There were no obvious alternative options to cows milk at the buffet. On the plus side there was a very good fresh sourdough loaf for slicing.
