First of all Sherrie’s place is immaculate! Everything you need - a comfortable home away from home! I LOVE ❤️ her recliners more than my own!
I hadn’t seen a friend of mine in 40 yrs I went to school with who I was able to catch up with!
Plus a comfy robe to climb into after the day and that recliner (see I mentioned it again!) with a glass of wine 🍷 was very chillaxing!
Very quiet gorgeous oasis in the back yard area and a beautiful peek a boo view of the ocean with a lovely breeze and breakfast just makes a wonderful start to your day!

Sherrie is a lovely lady that always has a friendly word, is eager to assist and has an amazing garden laid out for all of the guests.
Very nice above ground part of the house with large kitchen and ample room for 2 to relax and watch a movie or play a game or 2.
The apartment is a 5 min walk away from departure bay and 10 minute drive from all that Nanaimo has to offer, which is a lot!!

Everything you want is here. Location wise you are smack dab at the mid point for any other destinations you may opt to travel to. Plus you live in style with a friendly host

This accommodation was wonderful in every way. The kitchen had great appliances and everything you need to make anything you could want to make -- even a rolling pin and pie plate to make a pie! It is obvious that the owner has thought very carefully what guests might need for a comfortable and convenient stay. Bed was very comfortable with the softest sheets ever and living room had good television and streaming services as well as comfortable recliner seats. The place was immaculately clean when we arrived. The neighbourhood was safe and quiet. The owner, Sherrie, was very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the Nanaimo area, and highly recommend this lovely place as a "home away from home."

Very clean, beautifully furnished, fully self-sufficient ground-floor/basement apartment. Large windows with lots of light. Modern appliances, large bathroom, and smart tv with comfortable reclining couch. Beautiful backyard, however as it is shared with the owner who lives upstairs and was always home, we did not use it as we did not want to encroach on their space. Great parking space allocated, and only ~4-5 km from the Departure Bay ferry terminal. Nanaimo is located in a great central area to explore Vancouver Island, and this rental is located in one of the nicest parts of the Nanaimo. Would definitely recommend!

Sherrie was a super host. Her space is clean and lovely. It is well set up for someone to stay for a long time. I stayed for 5 days and was very comfortable. The location was very good for my workshop that I was attending.

The property inside and out was absolutely beautiful and exactly as shown in the pictures! Location was central and close to the beach, kitchen had everything needed to cook with, and the inside of the property was decorated beautifully. A warm and welcoming experience
Sherrie was a warm and welcoming host. She was very attentive to our needs and to making our stay a most pleasant experience. The suite was spotless and the one minor issue that arose, she attended to immediately and happily. It is centrally located in the Departure Bay Area which made it very convenient to the ferries. The beautifully-tended garden to which we had access was a calming oasis after a day of walking around town. We would love to stay here again and will recommend it to friends travelling to Nanaimo.

We had a wonderful stay at your clean, bright, well equipped, quiet, suite. The fire pit is surrounded by a lovely garden with numerous seating areas to enjoy. A nice trail just down the hill takes you down to the bay.

Beautiful home with helpful host
This home was absolutely beautiful! The host was extremely helpful and I loved that she provided everything you could possibly need in a home. There was WiFi, with Netflix.
Be aware that if you're on public transport, as I was, it's difficult to get to places from this location. However, the host was, again, extremely helpful in providing me with information about where to get buses etc and that made all the difference.
Also, I don't know what kind of mattress the bed had but it was really comfortable with snuggly sheets.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
