We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Orfila. From the moment we arrived, we were treated exceptionally well. The staff were wonderful throughout our entire stay: professional, attentive and genuinely kind, always making an effort to ensure that we felt comfortable and well looked after. The level of service was truly outstanding. Our room was beautiful and extremely spacious, with every detail carefully considered. The bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable, and even the minibar was thoughtfully selected and beautifully presented. Everything in the room contributed to that feeling of being somewhere very special. The hotel itself has a wonderfully peaceful and elegant atmosphere, which makes it quite remarkable considering its location in the heart of Madrid. It feels intimate, calm and welcoming rather than like a large, impersonal hotel. We also had dinner at El Jardín de Orfila during our stay, which was an excellent experience in its own right and made our time at the hotel even more memorable. What really sets Hotel Orfila apart, however, is its people. Beautiful hotels can be found in many places, but this level of warmth, care and attention is much harder to find. A wonderful stay from beginning to end a true pleasure and a little oasis of calm right in the heart of Madrid. We left wishing we could have stayed longer, and we would return without hesitation.
