Delta Hotels by Marriott Quebec

Room was very spacious and clean and modern. Enjoyed the quiet location and proximity to sightseeing places and short walk to restaurants and shopping areas. Staff were very nice and polite. I would recommend this as a great place to stay in Quebec

Just that we arrived late and reception was short staffed so had to wait a while for checking in but overall was still nice.

5 min walk to old town. Clean.

I could clearly hear room next door. Rooms had an adjoining door that was locked but is likely why I heard them so clearly. It was uncomfortable as we felt we had to be extra quiet in morning and night as to not wake them.

Location is good for hotel.

While searching hotels, I preferred to see options where breakfast and parking are included in room cost. But during check-in I was asked to pay for breakfast and parking separately. For a family of 8 and two vehicles paying 25$ per person for breakfast and 26$ + taxes for per day parking is too much. Moreover, TV was not working, reading light was not working, room lamps were not working. Need to switch multiple elevators while going from parking to room.

The location is convenient for meetings and conventions

The building was probably quite nice when it was built 50 years ago. It is rather poorly designed and a confusing layout. The gym equipment was poorly maintained and quite old. The service was quite poor, and not service minded. The last significant failing - the breakfast restaurant. Buffet breakfast, on 2 of 3 days we’re told they were full, and there was a waiting list. There were clearly half of the tables unused, with only one person working the floor. It was pretty shocking, fortunately there is a lively cafe in the basement of the building next door that had service and was half the price.
