A cold-water rinse station waits immediately off the direct sand beach access over the dunes for feet and equipment. We expected a basic beach home as the booking states but it was not maintained at all. The pictures you see are when it was freshly painted. That is not how it is. The doors are a mess. Some of the ceiling fans do not work.. The wood floor in front of the sliders is coming up and warped. The boards are actually out of the floor. Causing a trip hazard and a lawsuit waiting to happen. The agency sucks . We called about the floor and they sent someone out to repair the oven. Which by the way was not broken.. And never called back about the floor. Called early the day of check in to see how to enter the property to be told they will send an email with a code at 4pm. At 410 no email. Called the agency to be told it was a keyed property and we were supposed to stop by their office to get the key. And they were not very nice about it.. Why they didn't tell us that on the earlier call I'm not sure. Called about the cleaning which had much to be desired. The agency claimed there would be a thorough COVID cleaning, yet there were cobwebs on ceilings and dead bugs on walls. Never heard back from agency on this. This owner needs a new agency. The Tvs were not connected to anything. The wifi router was pushed to the back of a low shelf and UNPLUGGED! They should have basic instructions for the tvs and wireless code in plain site. We should not have to search for them . The Bath sinks have very low water flow. Two floor register covers were rusting. One closet is unusable because the door won't open as it hits the floor. There was no strike plate on the basement door so it had to be deadbolts just to keep it shut. The outside of the house is in need of repair and paint. The best thing is that the location is perfect and the beds are comfy. As a paying guest there is a minimal expectation that the rental is clean and well maintained. Which it is not. Talked to the agency about that too. They would "get back to us. " Guess what. NEVER HAPPENED.....
