Pelican's Paradise was exactly as advertised. We loved being able to see the ocean while we had our morning coffee and then be on the beach 2 minutes later.

The property was clean, bug free and generally a lovely apt. The rating is 4/5 only because the apt was dated- as are most beach condo’s I would definitely return to the same apt. Without hesitation

This was our first stay on Oak Island. We normally stay in Southport. We really enjoyed this property. It was the perfect space for the three of us. The layout was great and we enjoyed sitting on the porch and seeing and hearing the ocean. We also got to watch a lot of kite action and several island bunnies in the yard. We brought a lot of food from home and the condo was well stocked with kitchen utensils, dishes and cookware. The swimming pool was crowded, but we went during "off times" and managed to get in some time. We didn't have a pool fob in our condo and had to drive to the office to pick it up/drop it off, but the office is close enough to the condo that it wasn't a big deal. What we really loved was the close access to the beach. Although the beach was pretty crowded, we stolled during the evening hours after folks left and got our fix of ocean air and rolling waves. We would definitely return to this location again, but probably not during the summer months. It was too crowded for us - especially during this pandemic. We're going to try again when it's not so crowded. Overall it was a great stay in a really great location and we're looking forward to coming back!
