About this house rental
Situated in Old Colorado City, this attractive house for $233 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Enjoy the luxury and convenience of a new home located in an historic neighborhood. This 3-bedroom home is only minutes away from some of the area’s most popular destinations, including Downtown, the US Olympic Training Center, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Old Colorado City, Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon, and Manitou Springs. On the main level, the open floor plan features a large, modern chef’s kitchen, a sizable eating area for group meals, and a living area complete with a large television and gas fireplace. There is also a patio off the kitchen, which extends your entertaining space. During your stay you will enjoy off-street parking for two vehicles and two car garage, high-speed wireless Internet, cable television, and a washer and dryer conveniently located upstairs. Owned by an Olympian and former professional athlete, and commonly known as “The Athlete House”, the home is decorated with sporting memorabilia from his career as an athlete and coach. Upstairs are three very cozy bedrooms with comfortable beds for a good nights rest. The master bedroom has a king bed and a television. The beautiful master bathroom has a bathtub, walk in shower and a double vanity. The other bedrooms have queen size beds and share a full bath. This was one of the nicest and cleanest properties our family has stayed in. Access was so easy, with a code on the front door, then the ability to park in the garage and enter from the back through the fully fenced yard. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the towels were plentiful - everything was perfect. We had more room than we needed for our family of 3. The athlete theme is also fun and tastifully incorporated throughout. We will be back!

The property was so perfect for the 4 of us to spend a cozy and happy Thanksgiving! We enjoyed hiking red rock canyon, walked Old Colorado Springs neighborhoods, and Garden of the Gods was amazing!! Thank you Paige for an amazing time!

Check in experience was seamless, clear online instructions. Although the unit is on a busy street, we parked in the garage so traffic was a non issue. The townhouse is great, nicely decorated and is well stocked with kitchen and bathroom necessities. It is well maintained and clean! There were 3 of us so we each had our own rooms with comfy beds. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location and was immaculate. Cleanest place I’ve ever visited. Wish the living room TV was larger and suggest labeling the keys. Will definitely be back. Would recommend longer stays since the cleaning fee is a bit steep.

Lovely condo with plenty of room for several couples. Location was great, close to numerous activities in Colorado Springs as well as DT OCC. Well appointed interior and the parking garage was a bonus. The only suggestions I would make is to have rugs/mats by the entry doors as it was raining when we arrived with no place to wipe our feet. Robe/towel hooks in the bathrooms would be a welcomed addition and inviting outdoor furniture that accommodated more than two in order to enjoy the lovely evenings.

This home was located in a perfect area to enjoy local attractions. I worked every day and some of the family had the opportunity to visit the down town area, pikes peak, garden of the gods, and more. The theme inside the home was great as well “Athletes House” is very appropriate.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Location was perfect for day outings around the Colorado Springs area. When we were ready to escape the unusual Colorado heat in the evenings, the home was perfect for spending time together as a family. Communication with Paige was fast and clear!

The home is located in the Old Colorado City area within a mile of shops, restaurants and breweries. Also, there is a supermarket, a Walmart Supercenter and a Starbucks within an easy 2 mile drive of the home. The home is owned by former Tour de France (1987) & US Olympic Team Cyclist (1984) Chris Carmichael. The home is decorated with pictures, bibs and bicycles from his career. There are 3 bedrooms (King, Queen, Queen) with 2 bathrooms located upstairs with the laundry room. The front bedroom faces Colorado Ave and subject to traffic noise at times but wasn't an issue most of the time.
The first floor has the family room, dining area and kitchen in an open air concept which opens up to a small outside patio and access to the detached 2 car garage.
We were there for a week and had no issues. The host Paige Carmichael was very easy to contact for questions. We would stayed there again on future visits.

This location and home was perfect for our family and all the activities we had to complete. Such a cute part of town and was surprised how much stuff was close to walk to. Great host and made sure everything was easy and smooth! Will definitely stay here again as It really is a wonderful home and host.

I wish every Verbo property could be this immaculate, with owners this responsive. I cannot remember ever being in such a clean place, which gave me immediate peace… it just sparkled! As someone who values clean products, I appreciated the nice touches, like Meyers soap, as well as a perfectly stocked kitchen for cooking. We stayed here with my two kids, my husband, and his parents, and all of us slept amazingly well. The beds were so comfortable, the sheets amazing, the temperature perfect. The location was also ideal. Cute part of town, but easy access to everywhere we were going. Because of the weather, we hoped to get in a bit earlier than the check in time. I texted the host, and she replied immediately to let us know. It was fine to come a half hour early. The whole stay was filled with little touches like that that made it perfect. I would almost plan another Colorado Springs trip just to stay at this house. Very thankful, and cannot recommend this property enough.

Not only is this house stunning inside and out, it was easy to access and the extra large garage kept the vehicles safe and secure.
The location is absolutely perfect! Walking distance from restaurants, coffee shops and bars. And just a short drive to several tourist destinations like Manitou Springs and Garden of the Gods.
This is my new VRBO choice for Colorado Springs!

Property was amazing and so much cool decor and personal touches for anyone who likes cycling! Location close to anything you need in Colorado Springs and the host Paige was so great with communication and helped it I’d ease when asked. You won’t regret renting this place at all!

Our stay was very comforting. This was a hard weekend as we buried our father on Friday. Your home was so comforting and nice for us all to gather afterwards together to remember all our great years with my father-in-law. We will come back soon again.

Our family met in CO Springs to celebrate Xmas. Kitchen appliances were fabulous, plenty of dining space, beds very comfortable and all bathrooms were roomy and very clean. Spacious 2 car garage.

The house was great. The owners thought of everything. The house looks even better in person than the pictures. There was not one thing extra we needed. They provided all the bath amenities, plus coffee and other things. Great house! For sure renting again the next time we go to the Springs!
