About this house rental
Situated in Morehead City, this attractive house for $349 per night is a great choice for your next trip. As of March 2024, the pool is still under construction to be completed in May, 2024 Prices reflect a discounted rate due to this potential inconvenience. We've signed the contract to have a saltwater, heated pool with a spacious deck to be built during the Winter of 2023-24. Our home is filled with beautiful and recently updated furniture including new beds in every room! The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary items needed to make a delicious meal for a large group. You'll have plenty of living space and common areas like the spectacular veranda off the kitchen allowing plenty of space for large groups to congregate. You can enjoy the views of the Intracoastal Waterway from almost every room. As if that wasn't enough, we recently completed the paperwork to begin construction on an outdoor, heated saltwater pool (which will be completed by April 2024). We are offering discounted rates this winter due to the pool construction. Make sure to take advantage of this great deal! With a 10 minutes drive to Atlantic Beach, 15 minute drive to Emerald Isle or Beaufort, there is plenty of places for shopping and groceries, and the nearby Pine Knoll Aquarium, you won't miss a beat. Come find an oasis in this beautifully appointed home and feel the peace of the coastal way of life. Quiet after 11:00pm (City ordinance) Must sign contract provided by Property Manager.

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this property! Beautiful home and very comfortable. I loved the beds, they were so soft. Great location and amazing views! Check in was so simple and you did not have to pick up a key from a second location. We look forward to staying here again when the pool is completed!

Beautiful view. No key as indicated on email. Kayak had a hole- sank and was awful to bring in. No cord for electric recliner. But, very nice. Would go again, but difficult for handicap husband to navigate with the sunken living room.

Blue Skies is an excellent property with many amenities that other places don't offer. Garet Beane was very accommadating and extremely helpful. We look forward to staying there again. Wonderful Property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at blue Skies! The location was perfect for our activities- visiting friends, scuba diving, golfing, enjoying the local offerings, and above all, relaxing in the home’s beautiful setting!! We loved mornings and evenings on the dock, watching the tides, fishing, watching the full moon, and thinking about kayaking (next time!).
The house had everything we needed as far as supplies. They were well marked and easy to find. The beds were comfortable and the views from everywhere were awesome!

Despite the rain, we had a wonderful time! The view was amazing and the house was very comfortable and accommodating for 2 families. We highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed our stay. House and amenities were as described. Kitchen was well supplied. A strong reccomendation I have for description is it should have included "not recommended for persons who are mobility challenged". Lots ot stairs, and very steep hills in yard leading to dock. An up Wheelchair ramp at front door and a down ramp into living room helped some but a person has to use stairs to reach any bedroom or bathroom. We had a very exhausting visit as one of our guests is "mobility challenged"!!!!!!

This was a fantastic rental and location. We spent so much time on the dock, just enjoying the view, and kids loved the kayaks and paddle boards. We will be back!

Amazing!
We loved our week-long stay with family! The view is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the dock or on the back patio area watching the many types of birds. We took walks through the lovely neighborhood and paddle boarded on the waterway. Our drive to the beach was about 15 minutes but we could have just stayed at this house and relaxed every day. Great vacation house!

I think this might be our favorite coastal property we've rented (and we've rented a lot). I can't say enough about the water views. You see them from everywhere in the house (even while doing dishes). You'd swear the water was closer than it is (altho it's close). We rented mid-March when still chilly, therefore didn't take advantage of all the kayaks, paddleboards, etc. the house has to offer. The house is clean, well stocked, tastefully decorated, with an open floor plan that suits vacationing with friends/family. The private dock is a delight and watching the boats and birds (and dolphins!) never got old. There is every kitchen appliance you could need; plenty of hangers; and the homeowners are generous with paper products (even Kleenex). We stayed 9 nights and were in no rush to go home. ps. the homeowners were a pleasure to work with.

Family get away
We rented from VRBO on our last trip to Hawaii. Our experience this trip was exceptional. The booking was efficient and the property was everything we hoped for. Garet the property manager was terrific. He was attentive to all our needs and went out of his way to assist in any way. We had a great time and woukd rent this property again.

Blue Skies is the perfect sound side get away!
We had the most wonderful week at Blue Skies in Morehead City. The home is spacious, set in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and was very clean. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of water sport toys for kids and adults. Garet was very quick to respond to questions we had upon arrival. We enjoyed the personal connection with the him, making us feel more of a guest, than just a renter. The waterfront views are spectacular with picturesque sunrises and sunsets. Our kids enjoyed fishing from the dock, kayaking and swimming in the sound. The backyard allowed for some football games, baseball throws and a lot of lounging. The internet handled four kids doing “remote learning” for school with no loss of connection. Blue Skies was the perfect home away from home for our family. We will be back!

This was the perfect getaway for our family and a fantastic way to celebrate Thanksgiving! The home has phenomenal views, spacious, great bedrooms and baths, and the kitchen was nicely appointed for all our cooking needs. I would highly recommend this property. We will have to come back when the weather is warm to enjoy the water!
