交通不方便，建議自駕來或是多人搭計程車比較適合，因為有宵禁若是有夜遊習慣的不適合

If you like cats and want to experience a stay in a typical Japanese house and don't want to stay out late, then this is for you.
The room is a traditional mat room and you sleep on a futon. There is only one guest room, so while the toilet / sink is outside of the room, you're not sharing. The room is lockable. The shower is available until 9pm. You can interact with the cats in the living room in the evening and morning, there is free morning coffee.
The owner, Miyazaki San is really friendly and very knowledgeable about Otaru. He gave me a great recommendation for a local sushi restaurant, which was amazing.
I totally enjoyed my stay. Miyazaki San is quite clear on what the guesthouse rules and times are and if this is not a problem for you, then this is an amazing, quirky place to stay.
The guesthouse is slightly off the road behind another house, I needed to check the guesthouse sign in the doorway before being sure that I had the right place.
