Good size of the room, freshly refurbished, nice decor. Bikes provided. Easy check-in..
The place has great potential, but the lack of customer service and kindness/welcoming attitude from the hosts the experience becomes barely pleasant. The staff barely smiled once, and they replied to questions / requests always with a negative attitude, with short answers and no explanation or alternatives. When we arrived well after the check-in time, the room was provided without towels or bedsheets, we understood they had a problem, and issues could happen, but they didn't even apologise for the inconvenience. They didn't even provide a small bottle of water as a welcome package (with 32°C outside). Breakfast is really basic. To be Sicily you'd expect some tipical product, and maybe fresh (really freshly squeezed and not the bittle from the store) juices like pomegranate and orange. The cleanliness could also have been better. When you have to checkout at 10am, bear in mind they don't have a proper storage for your luggage (which is now the private kitchen) and they were not so keen to even do it. When we asked if we could use the public toilet before leaving for the airport, she didn't let us because she said someone had a shower and so it was dirty, so NO. I strongly suggest you to review your customer service skills and it could be a much better experience.
