The property is as advertised and we enjoyed our stay. The location is awesome, less than 2 miles to Sabino Canyon which was convenient for us. It's also very close to the grocery (Basha's), restaurants etc. Mountain views can be seen from the balcony.
A few things to note:
- Calling it a 2 bedroom, with sleeping for 5 is awfully generous. Would work best for a family with 1 younger child as the 2nd bedroom is just an uncomfortable twin size bed. There is also no drawer space in bedroom 2.
- We couldn't locate any pool towels for use
- There were no activities in the unit (ie deck of cards, games, puzzles) so we did buy a puzzle and left for the next guests to enjoy!
- The unit is located right above the pool which was nice, but just beware that there are often people/kids in the pool later into the evening. It was a heavy spring break time so maybe not as big of a deal other times of the year or those who aren't on east coast time like we were
- There is no smart TV (unless it was so smart that we couldn't figure it out!), not a deal breaker for us but with the upgrades to the unit would have assumed you could have logged into your own account for things like Netflix etc. It may have been available on the DVD player but we were not able to get that to work
Overall we did enjoy our stay here but wanted to be sure to share some of the things one off things!

Just stayed 18 nights. Condo great. View of the pool. Quiet area. Walking distance to restaurants and some shopping. Loved proximity to Sabino Canyon and many golf options within 30 minutes. Would stay again!

Works well for two people. Deck faced east for direct morning sun rising over the mountains, and same mountains turned brilliant red at sunset. Pool, spa and grill easily accessed from this unit. Minor downside was the bedroom faced the pool and the pool deck lights were on all night. Kitchen could use a few more forks.

Had enough toiletries, laundry detergent, trash bags, etc. for our entire stay. Most of our VRBO stays do not have these, or enough for our entire stay.
Perfectly located- next to the pool, can overlook the pool from deck
Many great restaurants close by.

Cons:
45 minutes from airport
Cannot turn air down past 76 degrees- you are not told this until after you book. So for individuals who like it pretty cool, you will not fair well here.
Do not expect any special accommodations- I called prior to booking to see if they would be willing to provide alternative bedding (as my 6 year old daughter is allergic to down and down alternatives). The pictures illustrate down comforters and pillows. We were told that they could not provide alternatives bedding. We travel often, especially using VRBO, so we were not surprised by this reply. I then asked if they would be kind enough to not put any of the pillows or comforters on the beds, and we would pack our own. They then told us "we are unable to do this request, as it is the high season and need to follow protocol." So when we arrived, I had to take all the bedding off and wash all the sheets. This was very inconvenient, and if we had other options, we would have stayed somewhere else. However, we were booking close to our date so we decided to stay here. Again we have stayed in many VRBO properties, and every unit so far has been flexible enough to just put only the sheets on, until now.
When we arrived, the bedroom television remote was missing. I called the management office and told them. They said they would tell the property manager....we never heard back from them.
All in all, it is a beautifully updated and clean! However, if you need special accommodations or are warm blooded- probably not the best place to stay.
