The view is the best!. The only thing my husband didn't like was there was no TV in the bedroom. We would definitely recommend this place to others." Exchange hours are between 11 am and 3 pm daily. *Padre Island Rental's off-site 24-hour Guest Welcome Center makes check-in and late arrivals a breeze. Property is in a great location but needs maintenance. Pool is closed for 3 months and only 1 elevator worked then that broke down the last 2 days and we were on 8th floor. Fire alarms went off a couple of times and one time was at 4:30am.

Where we stayed was located on the 8th floor in an end unit. The view in the balcony was great except for the scaffold that was there for renovations. Renovations are great, but not when you have workers doing work in the early morning with easy access to the balcony and a window(shades were broken) that they would easily peep into my room where my wife and children were. Also there are ROACHES, I killed two myself. That’s pretty gross. The elevator is finicky and was down one of the mornings. The gate to the beach is not secured so anybody can enter through that back door into the parking garage. I do think the private parking garage is a plus. I’ve used Padre Rentals before and they are great, I just think more care and attention needs to be taken for that building. Staff was nice and did what they could, but nothing really to make it right. The construction and the fact that other people have access to your room should have been noted in the listing.

Pros: Beautiful view, Great location, property manager took care of our complaint right away
Cons: Immediately upon entering we smelled a weird smell. We.looked at the lliving room and part of the ceiling showed mold. We stopped in the welcoming center the next morning to report it and when we returned to our room we could smell bleach and saw our complaint had been taken care of. However there were several other areas needing to be treated as well.. Also noticed register vents were filthy and there was no filter in the furnace/air conditioner. Light bulbs were missing in lamps and tv didn't work until next day.after we talked to the welcoming center. Clearer directions would have been much appreciated.

Ocean views and sunrises were awesome from balcony which was the best thing this condo has going for it. Even though appliances were updated the other furniture was outdated and worn. There was lots of sand under the floor rug in living room and bedroom floors. Bathroom and a lot of areas are in need of repair from wholes in wall to where they tried to remove mold from ceiling in BR which looks like coming back, black mold on top of that which is the worst. General Hot tub are was unusable on 3rd fl was torn out. Only 2 floors with washer/dryers for the whole complex. The garage was supposed to be secure, the security gate not there, looks was there at one time, anyone can come up and down floors and into garage off the street. Pool area was the most secured area. Overall bldg is in need of repair and updates. The front desk people were very nice, friendly and accommodating. Management company were very nice and very accommodating as well. Overall area is a perfect spot on the ocean, it's the building and individual condo itself are in need of some love. Owner of condo has decorated really cute, just furniture is worn out.

Loved loved the view from the balcony. Could watch the sunrise as well as look over the side balcony for the sunset. Condo was well kept but the hair dryer did not work. It started making a rackety noise and smoking when I turned it on...minor inconvenience. The master bed was very uncomfortable for me. But those things did not take away from this beautiful condo and a wonderful trip!

The location is perfect. We usually book at another condo but it wasn't available. We don't like to travel with chairs and canopy etc. and the beach rental is literally right outside the property. So convenient. Hardly a walk with your ice chest etc. View from the balcony is awesome. Quiet complex which is nice. The only thing I don't like is the inconvenient towel exchange but this we knew because the property management runs the other condo we usually rent. The only issue was super slow drain in the shower but we managed. Still give it 5 stars and will likely rent this unit vs our usual.

Inside was not clean, I saw bugs in the bathrooms always and after shower water clogged so badly.

Great getaway
Inverness 800 04/3/22-04/08/22. The condo was very nice and clean except for some mold in the bathroom on the baseboards and near the bottom of the shower door entrance. Sleeps six if one sleeps on the couch and one (child) sleeps on the loveseat. Great large patio seats 8 with fabulous view looking right down on the beach. Does not have any ceiling fans but air conditioning works well. Quiet location away from elevator. Unit has it’s own hot water heater so I used all the hot windows my first (long) shower. 38 gallon capacity so plan accordingly. Good location. Good value overall.

This was our 2nd time visiting South Padre Island. This time around was nothing like the first. This property was well maintained and so tranquil. We spent our time on the balcony listening to the waves and drinking wine.

Very easy to access the property, assigned parking is a plus, and the area was very pleasantly quiet.

We booked this property after some friends were moved from a two bedroom to a one bedroom at the same condominium complex, Inverness. The two bedroom we originally were in was very poorly maintained, old, tired, minimal kitchen equipment, leaky shower head. I could go on and on.
When they moved into a one bedroom unit, we rented this unit for three nights. It is so beautiful. The decor is very nice. The furniture is comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the view is perfect. Lots of comfortable furniture on the balcony too.
We had a few minor issues because the refrigerator has no ice maker and there were no ice trays. We just bought a bag of ice.
In the bedroom, there is no blackout curtain so the complex outside lights shine into the bedroom all night long. Would suggest getting an inexpensive shade to resolve this.
Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and there isn’t any other place I would consider renting when we return to South Padre Island.

My Wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The accommodations were great and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. The balcony has a really nice view and with condo on the corner of the building so the end was open too which made for a wonderful breeze.

The condo was nice. It was mostly clean except for the damage to the drywall in the bathroom.
There was plenty of room for a small family.

Disappointing
We were originally to stay in another building. Due to some broken tile they found one hour before we were to check in they switched us to a hole other building. Told us it was an upgrade which is laughable. The view is amazing but the condo was extremely antiquated. Seems like we had a repairman every day. The light switch in bedroom was broken. The faucet broke in the bathroom. We had to brush our teeth and everything else in the kitchen sink for fear of creating a flood. The furniture was sticky. It was some kind of wicker and it seemed like the solution they were using to clean it made it tacky. The stove went out blew a fuse go figure! The bar on the balcony was loose and missing a screw(terrifying on 8th floor). The outlet on the balcony came right out the wall and was hanging. To culminate our visit we were sent on our way by a roach an inch long. Mind you this is not the building we chose nor the room and I will never stay in this building again nor use the renting office. The people were nice but I just don’t feel for the amount of money we paid we got what we paid for at all!! This situation could have been rectified by a simple move to another room as most of the rooms were not even used. Supposedly there was no other option without paying more. As a manager that provides customer service I would have made them feel like queens provided what all was happening! This is just proper. People pay a lot of hard earned money in today’s day and have expectations on what they are getting. I don’t think it is far fetched to just expect a nice comfortable stay without all the hassle that you trying to get away from!!

Great unit overall but one significant issue
First, this unit is great overall. The patio and view were amazing. The living area was terrific with views of the ocean as well. My only complaint was that the one bedroom wasn't getting properly cooled at night. I ended up waking at 2am and giving up to sleep on the couch at 3am. I called the management company and they said they didn't have any fans or anything to help. They sent maintenance to look and the AC was cooling as I said when I called. It just wasn't adequately cooling the bedroom. We slept on the Murphy bed in the den the rest of the stay.

It was a nice visit. Condo was a little small for six people, but it worked. Beautiful views over all loved our stay.
