Okay for people wanting a night out.

Decent size room, close to beach, friendly staff.

Live band, room was very hot and couldn't have windows open due to smokers constantly outside and people being noisy. Bedding looked used and was damaged, arrived at 6pm didn't manage to get a parking space until 1am kept checking out window and had to park on double yellows up until then. The breakfast that was included was tiny with the extra cost. Could hear every foot step from people above. Wouldn't recommend taking children unless you don't mind having a restless night.

Planned a couple of days in Bournemouth so wanted to be central to entertainment options. As it was only one night, the

It was close to the centre with shops and restaurants nearby Breakfast was ok. Staff were attentive.

Noise levels from the pub downstairs right up to 11.30pm Noise coming from the road the whole time. No parking available throughout our stay so had to circle the streets and hope for a spot.

riscaldamento straordinario, stanza anche troppo calda. Doccia con acqua caldissima. Accettazione rapida e cortese. personale delle pulizie gentile e disponibile. Posizione top vicino al molo e al BIC. Supermercato vicinissimo per qualsiasi esigenza.

Il venerdì c'era il Karaoke ed il rumore si sentiva molto nella stanza ma niente di insopportabile, dato che eravamo in vacanza. La domenica sera il PUB smette di servire cibo alle 19 quindi abbiamo dovuto ordinare su deliveroo.

Location price free parking and no charge for dogs. Staff were lovely too

The vertical blinds at window. There were only 4 slats many wete missing The room was overlooked by many windows and that made it very unprivate. You could see people in their rooms so they could see us. We had to draw the curtains in the daytime to get privacy which meant the lights had to brighten put on

Overall I would stay at The Hop Inn again. Was a pleasant experience.

The room was clean and looks very smart. The bathroom and shower facilities were also excellent.

The curtains. Too long on one window. Covering the radiator and blocking the heat entering the room. The other window in the room had a blind that was damaged but really needed curtains to block the cold.

We wouldn’t stay again!

The room was lovely and warm and the lady who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming.

When we checked in the pub was cold but we thought this was due to it being early. We decided to go down for a meal in the evening and the pub was so cold that people were in their coats! We decided that we didn’t want to stay in a cold pub to eat so we got a takeaway and had it in our room which was warm. The pub appears to have a licence to stay open late which meant it was so noisy. This should be mentioned on booking.com so guests are aware. The pub is also on a busy road with cars back and forth all night. This should also be mentioned. There were people coming back to their rooms at 2.30am slamming doors and making a noise. Also the windows rattled and my husband found they were not locked properly but even after locking they were still rattling. The bed certainly isn’t a pocket sprung as advertised on the pub’s website and was very uncomfortable. When we went for breakfast the pub was cold and we were told that we would have to pay extra if we wanted the bigger breakfast. There was no decaf coffee and the breakfast was quite basic with a cheap sausage and one piece of white bread toasted. We’ve paid the same price for a much nicer hotel with a far superior choice of breakfast including cereal and nice coffee. We had a long drive back home with hardly any sleep due to the noise. THINK THE BUSY ROAD AND EXTENDED LICENCE SHOULD BE MENTIONED ON THE SITE

Great dog friendly place to stay

Great dog friendly hotel and pub, room was a decent size, meal in the pub was nice. Staff very friendly and helpful

Could of been better.

The location. Easy access to amenities. The barman in the morning couldn't of been more helpful, not so friendly in the evening. The food was excellent.

Room wasn't as clean as we would of expected especially the bathroom.

Good value for budget accommodation with friendly staff.

The location was great, 1 minutes walk to the beach a 5 minutes into town. All the staff were friendly and really accommodating and I got a free parking space outside. It was very affordable so is what was expected really.

Rooms were nice but there was a downside. The towels provided were tatty and stained.

Short stay

Dog friendly and no extra charge for her stay perfect location for walking my dog and getting to the beach and to other places to walk . Although basic the en suite was very good and very modern and the room was very clean and tidy .it was fine for a 2 night stay ,staff were helpful and friendly

There was no hairdryer in the room ,also I was glad I took my own fan as the room was very hot due to weather being warm Pub food wasn't quite to my taste so ate elsewhere on the second night didn't try breakfast as I like eating at the cafe by the beach in the mornings

Gute Lage, perfekt für Partytiger, welche in der Nacht keinen Schlaf benötigen.

Das englische Frühstück war in Ordnung. Im Pub konnte man am Abend gut essen, und im Garten das Getümmel in der Straße beobachten. Die Lage war sehr zentral, wenige Minuten zum Strand. Die Bushaltestelle in 1 Minute zu erreichen.

Die Lage des Zimmers zur Straße und deshalb war es in der ganzen Nacht sehr laut

Did not stay as very unsuitable for us.

Nothing as when we arrived we could not find anywhere within easy walking to park and unload. Asking at the bar was told there was a car park along the road but it was too far fir my husband to walk also when entering the bar the carpet was filthy and the whole place looked shabby. We managed to find somewhere else to stay in Poole which turned out to be excellent friendly and easy fir my husband who has breathing problems.

As above. Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. Cannot get money back which is a shame.

Great location. Close to sea front, restaurants and amenities. Took our dog Ruby with us. So for us. Perfect dog friendly also. Highly recommended.

The staff were very friendly, rooms need more attention to detail re cleanliness, but great bathroom.

I was assured on Booking.com that there was free parking, there’s actually only 3 car spaces belonging to the Hop Inn and they’re not reserved for folk staying there…so parking is an issue. It’s also on a busy crossroads so traffic and noisy late night party people were a big disturbance.

Good for the beach

The pub was in a great location and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

No hairdryer in the rooms I booked this hotel because it stated free parking. There is absolutely no chance of being able to park on site.you can park near by for £22. The breakfast isn’t great.

we were very pleased. very good value for money

room was very clean and modern. was quiet even though it’s located above a pub/restaurant. quite close to main attractions in Bournemouth. we went to bournemouth to go clubbing and it was easily a walkable distance away.

parking isn’t great but it’s free if you can find a space down the side of the road.

A great inn for the perect stay

It was clean, warm & friendly with great facilities & superb food! A few minutes walk to the West Cliff and down to the beach too. It's now my "go-to" place to stay when I go down to Bournemouth!

Nothing. But I can see car parking MIGHT be an issue if you travel by car. I go by train so it wasn't an issue for me.

a bit overpiced

The location was good, it was clean. Nice bathroom and breakfast only one plate but it's okay for the price. Will be good to have tea/ coffee included and maybe some toast & jam but to charge a little more.

there is no parking in this hotel! there is some tiny space on the front but its busy with 2 cars so no chance for you to park also drinking people are just next to it - the nearest parking we found for £22 !! if I knew we will choose a different place with included parking. single beds were narrow /very small and not comfy, it was very noisy from the pub till midnight and all night noise from the busy road, so we did not sleep well. But overall it's okay, the staff very helpful.

Great BnB just above the Hopp Inn Bar/Restaurant. Good place to stay for short term!

Really liked how convenient the space was. The location is above the Hopp Inn bar and restaurant so it's easy to just pop downstairs for a drink or food and just enjoy the vibes. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was great also!

The parking spaces or location could be a bit better. We did have to park quite far away as the location has narrow streets and the Hopp Inn car park had very limited spaces so it would be first come first serve.

it was close to the sea

The fact that the management knew that the chip shop next doors generator / ventilation shaft was broken and ridiculously loud to the extent that you couldn’t hear the TV over it and the head board and whole bed physically vibrated and STILL expected us to stay because it closes at 10.30 pm so it would be quieter then !!! and “we’ll give you a free meal” No thanks , we didn’t stay, we asked for a refund and left . The room was extremely dated and felt unclean, I seriously think that room 11 should maybe just be used as a storage room, just a suggestion.
