Kanes Hotel is in an absolutely perfect location, just a stone’s throw from the promenade, with easy access to public transport, cabs and some of the best restaurants in Sarandë.
The rooms were impeccably clean and the staff were genuinely helpful and welcoming. A special thank you to Musa, who kindly upgraded me for one night so I could experience a sea view room. It was absolutely worth it. The sunset from the room was incredible! 🤌🙌
One practical note: there is no elevator, but this is quite common in Albania and certainly not unique to Kanes, so just something to keep in mind if you have heavy luggage. 😊😉

The location is amazing, quite issues with parking but staff is helpful and they manage for you.
The hotel was missing several basic amenities, including coffee, tea, sugar, and shampoo, which are usually provided by most hotels. We also requested a charging plug and an extra room key, but both requests were declined. In fact, none of our requests were accommodated, which made our stay less comfortable. Reception was often unattended, and we had to call or message each time we needed assistance before someone would come to help.

Clean enough, spacious as well. Access to food streets and a short walk to the corniche.
The photos gave the impression that you could just hop down to the beach but this was obviously not the case. It's a bit of a walk down. The view isnt great because its blocked by buildings.
No elevator access so be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights.
They tell you to pay cash for rent on arrival because the charge on booking.com does not go through apparently. It hasn't gone through for me yet, so its safe to say that's not a scam.
