You can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only. The pet fee of $135 is waived for this property. Pets stay free! This property has 6 parking spots for guests. **Private heated pools will open on April 1st and close on November 1st. Pools and hot tubs are cleaned weekly and no later than 6 p.m. on check-in day. Vendors are subject to enter the backyard to clean the pool and/or spa on scheduled cleaning days. Pets are not allowed in pools. Want added comfort? Consider adding the Heated Pool option! A Heated Pool option can be added upon request for $50 per night of your reservation. This fee is added to your reservation at the time of the request, which must be a minimum of 72 hours before arrival. Pool heat must be added for the entirety of your stay. This pool is heated by a heat pump. An ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. We had 11 people and 2 dogs stay for our annual planning retreat and needed 8 bedrooms w/its own bathroom. We had plenty of room to sit as a group at the kitchen table as well as in the main living area. The 2 separate living areas and nook on the 2nd floor were perfect to break out in small groups. Kitchen was well stocked with plates and glassware. We were surprised to find no ice maker in any of the refrigerators, however, the grocery store was close by. We would definitely stay here again!

This home had plenty of space and was in a great location. Staff at Kees were very quick to respond to any questions or requests we had. Would definitely recommend staying if you have a large group and want plenty of space to spread out, as well as be together. We were all very happy with our stay.

Great location with a 30 sec walk to the beach. House was clean when we arrived and didn’t have any issues other then the internet going out for a day. Management team sent a few text during the week to make sure everything was good. Already booked out next year vacation

The property is really beautiful. Really well appointed with all the extras anyone would need. There was a communication problem regarding the AC on the first floor and one of the dryers not working but was resolved in a timely manner after speaking with someone ( don’t rely on the texting service).

Broken!
Broken is the word for this house. Two dishwasher were broken. On the main level in the kitchen both freezer and both icemakers were broken in addition to the dishwasher. The windows were not cleaned, nor were the fronts of any of the appliances. The fireplace was covered in fingerprints from the kids that were there last. This is a beautiful house in a perfect location but it needs attention by property management. We enjoyed the daily chair and tent service and the location of this house very much.

This house is in a great location right on the beach and is well laid out and accommodates a good number of people with all master suites. However it is very poorly maintained and if I were the owner I would be very concerned that the maintenance company is not fulfilling their obligations.
For instance on the day of check-in and the morning after sent emails that were acknowledged with numerous things that were issues. The only thing that was addressed was someone came back and vacuum the couches and washed all of the bathroom counters. None of the other maintenance issues were addressed the entire week we were there.
All of the furniture had dog hair on it, the pool table had sand and dirt over it which we cleaned off, every bathroom counter had sand and dirt on it, The floors were very dirty, the sliding door on the upper level had a handle missing and the other side was difficult to slide (we fixed that ourselves so it would open), One icemaker was not working when we got there the second one broke the next day, the freezer drawer on the refrigerator would not open therefore was not able to use it, One of the dishwashers was broken, windowsills had dead bugs on them along with sand and dirt, vents in the house were caked with dust and dirt, they were only five spoons in the entire house so we bought some plastic spoons, very few hangers in the house, found extra pillows stuffed under a sink on the second floor, the kitchen needs to be organized everything was just thrown into drawers and The elevator did not work on the last day which made's moving out very inconvenient.
It should be noted that the pool is entirely in the shade in the afternoon. Grass if you can call it that needed to be mowed and weed eat it around the pool.
I've rented many places and I've been to the Outer Banks five times and out of every place I've ever rented this was the dirtiest and most disappointing rental I've had. It's particularly disturbing when you pay the amount of money that we paid to rent this home to have so many things not be addressed. It was quite obvious that the house is not being maintained well by the management company.
They were aware of the issues in the house on the first day and none of the issues other than the couches and countertops were addressed the entire week we were there. Someone did show up to put a handle on the door but only had a handle and no hardware. Will not use Kees again due to these issues.

Really gorgeous home near a beautiful spot of beach. We thought there were a few issues for such a fantastic house--garbage that had not been taken out, a few basics missing in the kitchen. But overall the house is entirely gorgeous and the view amazing. We spent a ton of time in the hot tub because it was unseasonably cold and that was wonderful.

Great location!
We rented this property for a family vacation and had a nice time! Proximity to the beach was great and having the tent and chairs put out each day was a nice bonus. House was very nice and had most items needed. The cleaning company ran late so we didn’t get into the house until 4:45 but those things happen. The floors could have been cleaner (kids feet were black by the end of the day) but other than that it was great! Pool was nice and clean and so was the hot tub. We enjoyed our stay!

When renting this property, I had previously rented several ocean front homes in the same price range. It definitely had quite a few deficiencies in terms of supplies/. In addition, we never saw ANYONE from the housekeeping department that was supposed to drop off towels, etc. The unit had washers and dryers that reeked of mold so washing the towels we had was not appealing in there. The backyard pool area, looked liked a cheap and dirty hotel pool. Very disappointing. I was hoping for a more upscale expereince for sure.

inside the house. the media and entertainment was enough for the toddler and 3 year old AND for our 86 year old grandmother. i loved the heated pool and the hot tub. everyone had their own bathroom and bedroom space. and to end it all, we were able to clean all of our clothes before leaving.
i can go on and on but i'll end like this: you have not had a better place or vacation ever in your life. everyone wants to return and stay in the same place
again.

Beautiful home. Great location
This home was perfect for a large family. The views were amazing and the kitchen was perfect with double refrigerators and dishwashers. The wifi wasn't that great for a house that size and for the amount of people that fit in the house. Also, the TV channels were extremely limited. Lastly, the fireplace didn't work and the windows weren't clean so that took away from the view at times. However, neither of those minor complaints would stop me from visiting this beautiful property again.

Amazing house
We all had a fantastic time, the house has great space for large groups and the elevator came in handy for luggage and groceries.
The floors weren’t as clean as they could have been, and although the kitchen was well equipped, it didn’t have dish towels or pot holders. Not a game changer, but it would have been nice to know so we could have brought them.

Great house & location
Great house & location! Convenient to stores, shops & restaurants. Walking distance to neighborhood businesses & short drive to grocery store & other places. House accommodated our group of 16 perfectly. Housekeeping could have better. When we arrived we didn’t have a clear view of the ocean, which is why we booked ocean front. After requesting window washing & deck cleaning we decided to do it ourselves. Other than that, housekeeping brought new towels daily & emptied common area trash, etc. Cabana service was awesome on the beautiful beach! Great time had by ALL!!!

Cleanliness
All was great except many items in kitchen were not clean, mold on ceiling in bathrooms. Very spacious, furnished nicely. TV was very difficult to use.

Fell short
We stayed at this property with 4 total families; each with 2 small children (16 people total).
Pros
- comfortably fits 16 people
- kitchen has enough space, two dishwashers, two refrigerators
- close to the beach (need to walk up and down a flight of stairs), cabana was setup daily
Cons
- cleanliness was a major issue. for example, there was lots of mold on the inside of the washers which precluded our ability to do laundry (major reason we booked a nice place with multiple washer/dryers). several of the sheets in the bedrooms had stains and were clearly not cleaned well when we arrived.
- even though they stated fresh towels would be exchanged daily; this did not occur. we even called them several times and were assured they were on their way but never came
- asked for partial refund due to above issues; management has not been very responsive and were told it can take up to 3 weeks to review cases (no word yet).
- grill did not work
- internet did not work
- TVs were hard to operate; especially since the internet was not working and options were limited by this
- the pool was apparently not chlorinated initially. we asked crew to come back and clean it for us which is when we were told of this (after several days of our kids being in the pool)
- the area around the pool is poorly hardscaped/landscaped with weeds, rocks, and dirt. it is hard for kids (and adults) to walk around the pool comfortably without shoes. it made the experience sub-optimal
Overall: Not the best value for the cost of the property; would advise others to look elsewhere

Extended Family Anniversary trip
There were 14 of us staying for my in-laws 50th Anniversary trip. We loved the easy access to the beach, the beautiful views, extra large table for family meals. The kitchen has 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers plus a fridge on the first floor. Great for large groups! The beds were comfortable as well.
Neither ice maker or the wine fridge were working when we got there. Maintenance came and fixed the morning we called. The cleaning crew is not meticulous, sand left under the couch, smears on cabinet, bathroom floors had dirt behind toilet area. We would’ve liked to have had a broom to clean up sand brought in. We found mops, dustpans and a vacuum (didn’t pick up sand well off the bare floor), but no broom.
Overall, great place for a large group. Neighbors near, but couldn’t hear them.

Wright’s Play
This is a fabulous vacation home, everything very well-maintained, Clean, the location is beyond exceptional with direct oceanfront views and access, an added bonus would be to heat the pool prior to April 1st ( they were servicing and heating the pool the day before we left) and to provide an exterior shower to remove sand coming off the beach, other than that /it was fabulous! Decour and layout of the house is superb! Elevator a definite added bonus as we had an elderly grandmother staying with us. Would go back again for sure!!

My guests and enjoyed this house very much.
Things I would improve: (1) heat the pool for the guests and dare to make their experience more enjoyable, (2) provide beach chairs instead of the Kees tent as this is insufficient to share with other homes and their guests, (3) lower the temperature on the entry floor as it was much warmer (almost too warm) than the rest of the house, (4) 3 of my guests on the 2nd floor mentioned their bed was vibrating—you should check to confirm or fix, and (5) we only received fresh towel service on 1 of 4 days and it should have been at least 2 days

This house is amazing! More than enough room for our family of 15.
Our family of 15 agreed that this house was the best we have ever rented. The elevator was a bonus since family member has a disability. The main living area had everything you could ever want, two fridges, 2 dishwashers and tons of counterspace. The views are amazing from decks and sitting areas. We saw many dolphins and plenty of birds. The kids had plenty to do with the game room, pool, and hot tub. The beach area had lots of shells Fir us to collect and complimentary canapy and chairs were put up everyday. We all agreed we would come back to this house again!!

The property was brand new but was not very clean or well maintained
The House was great because it was new --- The Management Company/Cleaning service was not very good.
The Property was almost brand new but the management company did a very poor job of maintaining the house. The appliances, floors, counters and bathrooms were not clean. You could not even see out of the windows when we got there.
The outside furniture on all levels was very dirty. The grill was disgusting -- It took us an hour to clean it and we had to go out and get a new grill brush and cleaner.
We cooked burgers and hot dogs the first night and then went to cook the second night and the propane was empty. There was no backup bottle -- we had to go out and buy it ourselves.
They only gave us (1) bath towel per person.(They did bring us extra towels on the 3rd day after we asked multiple times) The soap and shampoo dispensers were empty. When we called to let the management company know the condition of the place after our arrival they did not send anyone over until 7:15pm the next evening -- We had already cleaned it ourselves.
Other than that there was great access to the beach and everyone enjoyed themselves during the week. We especially liked the cabana and beach chair service.
