Lovely, clean, quiet and comfortable hotel, with incredibly kind, friendly, helpful staff. And just a short walk to the Stupa. Highly recommended

The staff were very kind and helpful, the breakfast was nice, the location is central but down a quiet street, and the dog was cute
There was no desk, it wasn't a problem, but often there is a desk and I did miss it a little

I had a very pleasent stay at Sabila, very nice and very helpful staff, they made me feel at home far away from home, there was always time for a lovely conversations. Their delicous breakfast was served on the roof top terrace. Perfect location near the stupa of Boudha (5 min walk) and only 15 min walk to Shechen Monastery. I can highly recommend Sabila and will certainly stay there again when travelling to Kathmandu.

This is my second review of this hotel. It became our base as we explored Nepal. It's in a fabulous location, right near the stupa - but it's tucked away, and is very quiet all the time. Breakfast (and coffee) on the rooftop is great. Wonderful food, views and staff. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable - but it's the staff who make it wonderful rather than just really good. They're all very kind and caring and nice! They let us leave our luggage as we came and went, tolerated our repacking, and always remembered us and where we'd just gone. Such a nice feeling to be taken such good care of when away from home! Highly recommended.
And you can feel good knowing profits are supporting a great cause - ask them about it. You'll be glad you did.
Really - I'm sure there are other nice hotels around, but even without having seen them all I have no hesitation recommending Sabila!
