Situated in Groningen, this attractive bed and breakfast for $114 per night is a great option for your next trip. Lovely private studio apartment close to city center. incl free parking, use of free bikes and boat (for a canaltour April-October) Wonderful and modern apartment on the ground floor in a very convenient location close to the city center of Groningen. Location is perfect, very near to the bus stop and only a 10 minute walk / 5 minutes on our free bike to the city center. and only 5 minutes walk to the park (Noorderplantsoen) The Schilderbuurt area is a very popular area, it is also very quiet and close to the city center. It is located close to bars and shops. The Schilderswijk is not touristic but always vivid. The parc (Noorderplantsoen is very nearby) Bus stop is only around the corner (if I am available it is possible to pick you up from the train / bus station) You will make it on the highway in just a couple of minutes. The apartment is very spacious (45 m2), it is wonderfully designed with excellent use of space making it feel much larger then the photos suggest. It has a modern bathroom with lovely shower and a separate toilet. Is has a comfortable bed (160 x 200, or 2x 80x200) dining table, and closets The living area is also equipped with a flat screen TV, movie collection and a comfortable sofa The kitchen is equipped with the necessary kitchen attributes, electric stove, microwave / oven, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine, water boiler, pots and pans, plates, cutlery and glasses. The fridge is stocked with the essentials. You will find in the bathroom; washing machine, hairdryer, shampoo, soap, towels etc) Our shared garden, located at the canal, is perfect for coffee and breakfast or an evening nightcap. Because a boat ride? In the summer you can use our demolition to make a trip on the canals. The perfect way to explore Groningen is the typical Dutch way; by bike! We have two, free of charge, bikes available. These are included in the price. Wonderful studio near the center This wonderfully stylish studio (45 m2) is located on the ground floor. It is beautifully centrally but also very quietly located in the Schildersbuurt of Groningen, directly on the Reitdiep. This spacious apartment has a kitchen, private bathroom with washing machine, and a separate toilet. The studio is fully furnished. It has a spacious double bed (160x200) or 2 twin beds (80x200). Wifi and digital TV, DVD and audio are also available. You can use the communal garden / jetty, but also the boat on the water. Nespresso machine, milk frother and kettle are of course available. There are 2 beautiful bikes available for free and there is a sloop that can be used in the summer months for a trip through the canals of Groningen. Such a gem....big enough to relax into, completely away, but easy walking distance (to say nothing of biking distance) to all of downtown Groningen, AND it's right on the river. Super comfy bed (none of this '2 twin beds' thing that's common in Dutch hotels), and the kitchen was a treat. Very 'home away from home.' And, of course, Olaf and Nathalie (though I only met Nathalie briefly) were totally accommodating. Olaf is a such an engaging guy: both knowledgeable and curious. I expect we could have talked for hours. I'd love it if we crossed paths again, someday. If you're in Groningen, and the Riverside Studio is available, don't hesitate. This is the one you want.

We hebben een heel fijn lang weekend in het appartement gehad. Voor ons werd door de gastheer en -vrouw goed gezorgd. Met de fietsen bij het appartement konden we makkelijk de stad verkennen.

Bei userer Ankunft war alles super vorbereitet. Sogar im Kühlschrank standen Wein und Bier bereit. Olaf hat uns schon vor der Anreise mit tollen Tipps rund um groningen versorgt. Weiter standen Fahrräder und Boards für stand up paddeling bereit

Prachtige oase van rust vlakbij het centrum
We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad bij Olaf en Nathalie. De gastvrijheid maakte ons verblijf extra bijzonder en we hebben immens genoten van de boottocht! Er stond zelfs een kaartje op tafel voor mijn jarige vriend. De studio is ruim, super netjes en heel comfortabel en dat uitzicht op de tuin kan je nooit beu worden. Volgens ons kan je het in Groningen niet beter treffen. Dankjewel voor de warmte, Olaf en Nathalie! We hadden echt een vakantiegevoel!

Het was thuis komen
De vakantiewoning was meer dan compleet. Het bed was goed, de indeling van de studio praktische, het terras een juweeltje en de gastheer heeft ons in de watten gelegd.
Het centrum was op 10 minuten loop afstand. En ondanks de corona gezellig om er doorheen te wandelen. we konden gebruik maken van de fietsen en de boot maar daar was ons verblijf te kort voor. Super lokatie en gastheer

Schon vor Reisebeginn hat uns Olaf bei der Planung unseres Aufenthaltes unterstützt, Großartig!! Die Fotos auf der Seite entsprechen voll den Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir viele kleine Nettigkeiten im Appartment vorgefunden, was in Ferienwohnung absolut nicht selbstverständlich ist. Ein kurzer Fußmarsch oder schneller mit den Fahrrädern, ist man schon in der Stadt. Wunderschön!! Den Bootsausflug holen wir mit dem nächsten Besuch nach. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Nathalie und Olaf für den tollen Aufenthalt!!!

Fantastic
Hello, this studio is very nice with a terrace at the water. The owners are very nice. 4 times of the 6 days we were in the studio, we got a little breakfast from Nathalie, the owner. Olaf gave us a free tour in their boat. In the fridge there was milk, juice, mineral water, beer and we got a bottle of wine. There also was fruit. 2 bikes stood in front of the studio, which we used almost every day (we did not had to pay rent for it), but the old centre is very near, you can easily walk to it. We enjoyed Groningen city, but also other places in this region. Appingedam was very nice and Winsum also. Thank you Olaf and Nathalie.

The perfect place to stay in Groningen
Our stay in Groningen was perfect due to the wonderful studio and the excellent host. The studio was super clean and everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. This accommodation brings everything you need, and made our trip to Groningen even better. The host Olaf is more than hospitable, he brought us breakfast in the morning with fantastic cappuccino and gave us a tour with the boat around Groningen. Absolutely recommendable!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft - es bleiben keine Wünsche offen!
Das Studio von Nathalie und Olaf ist einfach perfekt. Wer die schöne Stadt Groningen erleben möchte und gleichzeitig ein paar entspannte Tage verbringen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Die Wohnung ist super sauber, bestens und hochwertig ausgestattet. Am ersten Tag gab es für uns ein geniales Frühstück und eine Bootstour - einfach wunderbar. Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeber!

Leider kam der Urlaub auf Grund der momentan allseits bekannten Lage nicht zustande. Wir hatten einen sehr guten Eindruck von der Ferienwohnung am Fluss und einen unkomplizierten und netten schriftlichen Austausch mit dem Gastgeber Olaf Jansonius.

We had a fantastic short stay in this lovely centrally located property.
Olaf was a helpful and attentive host with a perfect centrally located studio. The studio was clean, bright and well stocked, there were even a couple of bikes we could have used if we had wanted. Looking out on the canal the outside space was lovely, spacious and a great way to enjoy being outdoors in a private oasis. We had a great time and if we were heading back to Groningen we'd love to stay there again.

We really had a great time in Groningen. The apartment ist really nice and it is a pleasure to sit outside close to the water and enjoy the sun. Olaf is such a perfect host: We enjoyed his awesome breakfast every morning with fresh brewed coffee and tasty orange juice. And we really loved the boattrip, where he gave us a lot of information about the city and good places to go . It is really a perfect place to be - and we will suggest it to all our friends! Das Studio ist wie die Fotos zeigen: sehr praktisch und stylisch eingerichtet. Sehr bequemes Bett! Tolle Terrasse am Wasser. Nur 10 Minuten Fußweg zur quirligen City. Der sehr sympathische Gastgeber Olaf war immer erreichbar und hat sich gerne Zeit zur Beantwortung unserer Fragen zum Leben in Groningen genommen. Die Verständigung auf deutsch klappte gut, auf niederländisch und englisch natürlich auch. Olaf hat uns auch gerne verwöhnt und ist mit uns mit seinem Boot durch die Grachten von Groningen gefahren. Da blieben keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen wieder!

We were in Groningen for 5 nights to spend Christmas with our son. Olaf went above and beyond to make us comfortable and welcome, including stocking some fridge items and picking us up at the train station. The kitchen has nice equipment and there were plenty of towels, etc. The studio is only a 10 minute walk to the city center where there is an abundance of restaurants and shops. The grocery store is just across the canal, about a 5 minute walk. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. We would have loved to spend time on the beautiful deck area or riding the bikes, but alas it was December and the weather did not cooperate. We look forward to the next trip!

The waterside apartment was lovely, clean and in a great location.
The apartment had everything we needed for our visit to our son , who is at university in the city . The city is young , vibrant and fun. The apartment is very comfortable in a safe friendly neighbourhood and Olaf was a great host.
