Situated in Summerland, this attractive house for $305 per night is a great option for your next trip. Welcome to the Summerland Double Dolphin! This 5-Star rated 2 Bedroom/1 Bath relaxing vacation custom home is within walking distance to the beach & downtown Summerland! This perfect oasis offers many custom features including all hardwood floors, vaulted wood ceiling, extensive cabinetry, comfortable reclining sofa furniture, flat screen T.V. (including Direct TV), WiFi, fully stocked kitchen (including dishwasher), indoor & outdoor tables for dining, ceiling fans in every room, walk-in shower & a private washer and dryer. Each bedroom offers queen beds, a double door closet & plenty of space so you can really feel at home. This rare, new single family home comes with screened, double-pane windows for a majestic ocean view and possible dolphin sightings! There are multiple private outdoor seating options, private 3-burner propane grill & secure private brick stone driveway offering parking for three vehicles. Fenced in yard and very private, the driveway has a gate that you can close. This is the home you need for your vacation! It's located in a charming beach town that offers restaurants, shopping, markets, post office, gas station, convenience stores & a new full court basketball and tennis at the Summerland school during (none) school hours for your use, all within walking distance. The Summerland beach (Look Out Park) is operated by the County of Santa Barbara and is less than 1/2 mile from the Summerland Double Dolphin home. The park (Look out Park) offers a beautiful newly renovated playground, sand volleyball, ping pong tables, picnic tables, charcoal grills, Free parking and a Car Charging station. Great sunrise, sunsets, dolphins and whales at certain times of the year! The town of Summerland may be quaint but it offers something for everyone; whether you want to hike/bike the well groomed trails and back roads, surf the world famous Rincon, lay on the quiet beach, sip a glass of wine at the Summerland Winery, take the public bus to Santa Barbara or Carpinteria (world's safest beach!) or stay at home and watch the ocean - this is the place for you. We are very proud of this home and have made every effort to supply everything you will need to make your vacation UNFORGETTABLE! We are owner operated and live in a separate home on the property. We had a lovely stay at this property. Great view, well equipped kitchen, nice bed, easy access. Nice walk to the beach (1 mile) through the lovely shops and eateries of Summerland. Easy drive to Montecito and Santa Barbara, as well as wine country up the hill.

The hosts have created the perfect getaway. Everything you need to enjoy the Santa Barbara area was available, and the hosts were friendly and very helpful and responsive. The home is gorgeous and very clean, and we enjoyed breakfasting with the ocean view and hummingbirds enjoying flowers outside the window. Dinner in the private patio out back was ideal. Privacy and quiet abound. Thank you!!! We will be back!!!

Rick and Debbies place was very nice. It was very well stocked with everything we needed. The direction and ease of checking in were completely hassle free. The bed was very comfortable and it was tucked away so we left the sliding bedroom door open while we slept. It is a short walk from the Double Dolphin down to a great beach with lots of driftwood. The only drawback was the spotty internet. We had a few problems getting online or would lose service but it was a minor problem because we wanted a quiet weekend. For that it was perfect. we would definitely book it again for a weekend get away.

Adorable home with an ocean view.
The inside is very homey, almost retro and fully equipped. The outside has a lot of comfortable seating and is decorated nicely.
We walked to the beach (about .5 mile) and enjoyed watching the dolphins and sea lions. The town has a very chill vibe - quiet, friendly, with a few good restaurants.
We took the 5 minute drive to Santa Clause beach for the day and really loved it - more dolphins!
50 minutes away is Solvang - a Danish town that transports you into a Christmas Hallmark movie.
The hosts are excellent! Communication was easy. The home itself exceeded expectations.
Summerland is located perfectly in that you can be as busy as you want to be or not and be perfectly content.

We booked our trip last minute and all I can say was that it was everything that you would want in a vacation rental. Especially with young kids. The house is in a great location with a wonderful view. The little downtown area is a short walk away.
The house was well stocked and they had everything for the kids to play at the beach. We will comeback.

Girls trip getaway! Loved having so much near the home! Beach was a couple miles away, the nugget restaurant walking distance which was good and atmosphere was great. We took an uber to santa barbara, enjoyed dinner, comedy show and an Irish pub. Fun times were had. The home had everything we needed for our weekend. Beds were comfortable, plenty of seating, ceiling fans came in handy as it was a bit warm. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Thank you for sharing your home!

This is our second time staying at the Double Dolphin. The property has amazing views, great location with walking distance to restaurants and the beach, and the hour itself is clean, and has plenty of space and privacy indoor and outdoor. Rick and his wife are amazing hosts and communicate promptly if any questions arise. Will decently be coming back!

How could a 5.0 star rated rental be better than expected? Everything was as described and then some. I've rented about 30 properties over 20 years and this has to be one of the absolute CLEANEST rentals I've encountered. Some cleaning fees you wonder what they do.... but it's quite obvious here.
The place was built from the ground up in 2014 with dual buildings in mind (maybe that's why it's called Double Dolphin?) It's perfectly laid out and the unit in the back (this rental) is very private with the most charming backyard. The pictures don't do it justice. Wish I could grow succulents like that!
Finally, the owners were very responsive to a few of my questions. I goofed on someting and they were very understanding and helpful. They also keep the rental well stocked with all the basics you might need.

My mom and I had a wonderfully relaxing vacation at this lovely home. The house was beautifully decorated, had two very nice bedrooms with comfy beds and a really nice, large shower in the shared bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. We enjoyed looking out the front windows at ocean and the hummingbirds during our meals. The location was on a nice, quiet street within walking distance to Summerland Winery and the beach.

I went to Santa Barbara to have a very extensive surgical procedure done and needed a place to recuperate for a few days. This was the perfect place to do so. Quiet and serene with the most beautiful view and all the amenities you would need. I will definitely come back if they will have me under better circumstances to really enjoy it!

My 90-year old father, his wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The home was immaculate, comfortable and well furnished. Parking was easy and the home was easily accessible for my dad who walks with a cane. We loved sipping our coffee while enjoying the ocean view. Our hosts were attentive but not intrusive and very responsive to our messages. Highly recommend this property and these amazing hosts.

The house was so relaxing and homey! We spent our family Thanksgiving in the house. My husband grilled the chicken and my daughter and I cooked a full course Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen. It was nice to have a fully stocked kitchen! We woke up to gorgeous ocean views every morning and spent our evening sitting in the back patio on the cozy chairs. The cute sign greeting us at at the door was a nice touch, and it was really thoughtful to offer chilled champagne and glasses! Perhaps my very favorite part was watching the hummingbirds swooping down to the bird feeders all day. Very quiet (no sounds of traffic) with the occasional quaint toots of the train going by. The walk in shower was luxurious. We enjoyed reading the guest books and looking at the photos of the house being built. You can feel the love that was put into the place. We will definitely be back!

The house was spectacular! It was so well laid out and close to anything Santa Barbara or the surrounding towns. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating! We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the hotel alternatives!!
