Fantastic place!! Loved being able to use the pool at the hotel. Room was lovely. We had the massive terrace which was lovely! It is close to the train tracks but we did not hear it! Hotel can organise trips for you. About a 20 min walk to centre.

Breakfast was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. All facilities including pool area extremely clean and well maintained
Location was further from the old town than we thought. But some great bars and restaurants with a few minutes and cheaper than old town area

The pool was very nice with a large array of lounge chairs. The breakfast at hotel gardenia was very tasty and well stocked for a continental breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful.
We could hear the train could go past, luckily it only goes during the day but was still annoying. Construction was also going on one of the days which was quite annoying. It was advertised as a hotel and pool but the pool was in the hotel across the busy street meaning you had to walk in your swimwear across the street. The room was also part of a converted apartment and the entryway did not feel like a hotel.
