Sehr schöne Lage mit Blick auf den Fluss. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und bekamen Frühstück und Abendessen.

Een prachtige ligging. Mooie tuin en heerlijke ontspannen sfeer. Vooral de goede zorgen van Maureen, de gastvrouw voelde ontzettend fijn.
Verder rustige buurt op 5 min lopen van de doorgaande weg. Toppie!
Helaas bleek onze douche niet warm te worden maar we mochten in een andere kamer die leeg was warm douchen! Super attent.
De goederen trein komt ‘s nachts 3 x voorbij met luid getoeter. Dat is echt niet chill maar daar kunnen zij ook niks aan doen.

Kleinschalige lodge met prachtige tuin aan de Shire, service van de gastvrouw die heerlijk voor ons kookte en snel reageerde op vragen.
In de omgeving was ‘s nachts constant muziek, erg jammer in zo’n prachtige omgeving.

The location was good, with a pleasant garden overlooking the Shire River. The staff were helpful and friendly with tips on where to go for food. The bed was comfortable with good linen and a decent mosquito net. The shower worked although the water was a bit lukewarm.
My biggest issue with the place was that the front door was locked at night and we were not given a key or any warning about this. After waking at 5.30 and being excited to get photos of the gorgeous sunrise across the river, I was very upset to find that I couldn't get out of the building. Not only was this disappointing, I also think it was a safety issue and probably illegal.
The other annoyance was the goods train which passes through Liwonde at about 3 am every night, very slowly and sounding it's horn repeatedly as it goes. However this would be a problem anywhere in the town and was not the fault of the accommodation.
