We had a wonderful time in Kalymnos, staying at Neils' place! Niels is the perfect host, so friendly and welcoming! We went with two teenage boys and we had everything we needed, the kitchen is fully equipped, there are 2 terraces where you can eat and relax and the house was also spotless. Niels recommended a few things for us to do and places to see and these were our favourite, we were so grateful he mentioned them. I couldn't recommend his place highly enough, we had an amazing holiday and I would only stay there if we had a chance to go back ☀️

Great location, views and overall layout of the villa inside & out. Friendly & helpful owner
Description states "air conditioning" so sets clear expectation but actually is only present in one of the three sleeping areas, Fans provided for other areas but not sufficient considering mid-summer heat.
Not stated in description is that the house is off-grid and unfortunately the solar/battery system is not sufficiently dimensioned to support the single air con unit (+ 2 fans) for the entire night, leading to full power shutdown in the early hours & therefore no lighting, fridge, gas hob igniter and overall uncomfortable sleeping arrangements; there is also the need to open up the external power utilities shelter every morning to reset the inverter to get power back on as soon as the sun hits the solar panels.
Also not mentioned in the description is that the owner lives in an annex below the main house which is accessed through the garden. Not a major issue but it's maybe not an isolated & private villa experience as you may wish for or expect
