Log cabin for rent in Charlemont, and only 3 miles to Berkshire East Ski Resort. 4 bedroom 2 bath cabin comfortably sleeps 12 people and has just been renovated with new bathrooms, flooring and kitchen. The open floor plan in the main living area boasts 19' ceilings, making it a great place to cook and relax, while hanging out with everyone in the house. The fully finished basement is a great place for the kids to play with some toys, multiple board games, or even some video games. If you would like to relax the upstairs loft is a great place to read a book, while looking out the wall of windows towards the mountains in the distance. The house faces west so each day enjoy magnificent sun sets that set over the mountains. If you enjoy the rustic lifestyle and enjoy the outdoors this is the place to be.

The lodge was amazing! Private setting with an incredible view of the foliage. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.There were 10 of us for a family wedding and we had plenty of room and everything we needed. Our host, Mike, couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating.

The property was amazing! The perfect place for a Girls Weekend with my high-school girlfriends. I've stayed in various VRBO homes and this one by far, was the best stocked. From the kitchen suppiles to the toiletries, Mike makes sure you are well taken care of. And so helpful! We had a little trouble figuring out the heat on the first morning but he responded to my call within 5 mins and walked us through it. The house is close to everything but well off the beaten path so we could enjoy the peace and quiet, we spent our evenings gazing at the stars from the immaculate hot tub. I was however a little concerned for the safety of the gal who slept in the upstairs bedroom who had to navigate the stairs in the middle of the night to use the bathroom on the main level.There appears to be a 1/2 bath up there that is locked to guests. My only suggestion to the host is to allow access, especially for the senior population 😆. We had a wonderful time at this property and was sad to say goodbye to it. We would definitely book again and I've already shared the link with others. Thanks Mike!

This was our 5th annual getaway and by far the best. The host was responsive and informative. The house was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Many meals were cooked in the kitchen and shared in the dining room. We were able to spread out in the comfortable bedrooms. The fire-pit and hot tub were well used. We explored the area on our morning walks and enjoyed the scenery. We truly wished we had more time to stay, and will definitely go back in the future. We would rate this home a 10 out if 10!

We liked the lovely house. We missed some kitchen equipement, one airco fell out of the window and the pump of the hot tub makes a lot of noise, so that sleeping in the bedroom in the basement wasn't possible (for us). Because we had bad weather during our stay we didn't enjoy the beautiful countryside.

Thunderstruck was back at the bike park and this was our home base for the weekend and everyone loved it! All the athletes said they loved having a little slice of heaven tucked back with a hot tub to unwind, a grill for making all the food, a fabulous yard/fire pit, and a great hangout space inside too once it got too chilly to be outside.

We had a wonderful stay at the SFA lodge. Had a girls weekend in Western Mass and this cabin was the perfect place to stay. The cabin itself was even better than the pictures. It was the perfect spot to relax, soak in the hot tub and enjoy the outdoors. Not too far from swimming spots along the Deerfield as well Shelburne Falls. We had dinner at the Blue Rock Restaurant and it was incredible! We would definitely stay at this cabin again.

Beautiful cabin! All 12 of us had a comfortable bed and none of us felt crowded in the home. The kitchen was stocked with all the needed utensils and pans to make a big dinner for us.
The basement was so fun! Our little 3 year old nephew loved playing with all the toys! The teenage boys enjoyed playing video games aa well in the basement.
For the moms, we enjoyed the double washers and dryers!
We did check out some local shops. Where Did You Get That was our favorite novelty shop! Amy's Cottage was fun for tshirt and sweatshirts.
We did find the Appalachian Trail and hiked a couple miles along a beautiful creek.

The SFA Lodge is cozy and comfortable. The yard was perfect for our family gathering. A quiet and pretty spot for an enjoyable getaway!

Property was located 15-30 min away from anything you need. Our family and friends stayed for an extended weekend to celebrate my 40th. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The host Michael was very responsive and informative on where to eat or other activities close by. Games for children and adults were all available and we had a great time playing them. Overall a great weekend stay for all!

We had a wonderful weekend full of laughter and fun at this beautiful home!! It was spacious and comfy and what beautiful views!! Absolutely would recommend this home! We also loved the close by orchard and their delicious hard cider tasting event. For wonderful lunches we loved the Baked Restaurant in Shelbourne Falls!

The house is incredibly comfortable - spacious enough in the living room/dining/kitchen area for us to work together and the bedrooms, basement, loft, and outside space enabled each of us to find some solitude as well. We went for a moms weekend. We had easy quick access to the river. The house has EVERYTHING we could have ever needed. Plenty of space and ACs! Definitely will go back.
