The location by the river is gorgeous. Food at the restaurant is decent. They pick you up by boat for check in and drop you off after check out. They rent out caiaques if that’s your thing.
Cleaning can be improved. Offering more activities, like paid boat rides in the river, would be nice. Staff could be more solicitous and less sarcastic. They let you pay at the end, add the restaurant charges to the charges for the stays and expect you to pay 10% over the entire bill; they also expect tips to be paid in cash.

Beautiful location, really helpful staff! I liked that you paid your bill at the end and just ran a tab.
WiFi was unreliable so I had to walk to the cash machine to take cash out for them to settle my bill. Having said that, the staff really looked after me and made sure I got my next transfer.

The restaurant serves good food. The rooms are very basic; a bed, a bare lightbulb and a waste basket in the bathroom. That's about it. Bring lots of mosquito repellent. Nice garden.

Nice location but a lot of mosquitoes! My room was clean but a bit dark.
The staff seemed annoyed when asked to do anything. One person refused to stop texting while I was asking for information saying she could do two things at once. That may be true, but it’s rude and unfriendly. I’m glad I only stayed one night. The food was also really mediocre.
