About this apartment rental
The lovely apartment consists of 2 bedrooms with kitchen, bathroom, large covered balcony seeds and leafy garden, it is quiet and is located close to the Vatican Museums, a few meters from the Metro line A Ottaviano - San Pietro. The bus stop is 492 at the door d 'entrance, the supermarket is in front of and behind the local market' corner. Via Candia is teeming with all kinds of shops, restaurants, pizzerias, bars, ice cream ... The place to offer you a pleasant stay in Rome.

Very sweet spot, and great location, especially for visiting the vatican. They had amazing restaurant recommendations, with very easy check in and communication.

Matilde's apartment is lovely and a wonderful place to stay in Rome. The apartment was very clean, the bed is quite comfortable and the bed pillows are especially nice. The neighborhood is a very good one - not right in the middle of the tourist area but very close to the Vatican, two metro stations (Cipro seems a bit closer than Ottaviano but both are about a 5 minute walk), and a bus stop right in front on the building as well as other bus stops on Leone IV. There are a number of grocery stores very close by and several good restaurants and pizzerias in the immediate vicinity. Because the apartment opens onto an interior garden, there is almost no noise at night so a good night's sleep is pretty much assured. I highly recommend Matilde's apartment as a perfect home base from which to explore Rome.

We’ve travelled all over the world and this was one of the best place we’ve ever stayed, felt like home right in the city centre close to all the sights with its own backyard sanctuary. The host was very personable, took the time to insure we had everything we needed, laundry machine worked great and even gave a recommendation for a dry cleaner in the neighborhood. If we travel back to Rome we definitely will try to book here again.
