Horrible.

The owner was not very polite. He checks every step at the house. Asked for extra money. And behaved like it was a military base! He turned off the heaters around 9PM. So, you should have enough clothes! He does not allow you to bring your car close to the property to unload your luggage. No shampoo was provided. The bed covers were not clean. Spider nets! A coffee machine is provided, but there is no coffee at home. No bottle of water or so on.

Unfriendly Host

Customer service. On checkout day, we received a call at 11:10 a.m. informing us that checkout time was 11:00 a.m. That is fair enough. We had tried to inform the owner earlier but were unable to reach him. When we finally spoke to him at 11:10, we explained that we were almost ready and kindly asked for an additional 10 minutes. He responded in a very impolite manner and stated that we had 5 minutes — not a second more. We would have appreciated a more reasonable response, such as asking us to ensure we left by 11:30 at the latest. At around 12:20 p.m., we returned briefly to collect something we had forgotten in the freezer. At that time, cleaning had not even started, which makes the earlier refusal to grant an extra 10 minutes even more unnecessary and unpleasant. Later that day, we received a message stating that a pillow was missing and asking us to check whether we had taken it. We immediately checked all our belongings and confirmed that we did not have the pillow. Approximately 30 minutes later, I received a notification from Booking.com stating that €30 would be charged for the missing pillow. I formally objected to this accusation and stated that I would take legal action if the amount was deducted. This is a matter of principle, not about the €30 itself. We did not take any pillow, and there was no reason for us to be charged. Few days later, we received another message informing us that the pillow had been found in the attic. I did not respond to this message. In conclusion, this was a very disappointing experience due to the impolite treatment and the unfounded accusation.

Lovely accommodation but don't drive to it

The apartment was very clean and comfortable

Parking very difficult. Got threatened with the police by neighbour for pulling up on road outside the house just to get our bearings. Really needs better information on where to park safely

Location is perfect if you travel through Germany

Most of the furniture and other items were old and the appartement (especially the kitchen) could use a good cleaning session (dirty toaster, sticky cabbins). We didn't have hot water in the bathroom (broken boiler). The owner offered us to use their personal bathroom but after a long day travelling with a baby and with an early checkout we didn't want to. You could hear loud music from downstairs as well.
