The lighting in the room was strange. The absence of a plug jn the basin bad.

I like the location as it was so close to the train station and was an easy walk with luggage. The room and common areas were clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast was of good quality. I liked the breakfast area especially the outside seating which has a swing too where I enjoyed my tea. The staff seemed friendly and the sauna was wonderful. I stayed here for my honeymoon and the staff left us a welcome cake in the room which was a lovely touch.
The reception took a long time to check us in even though it was a small queue. The self check in was closed in the evening and as we had reached after flying over to Zurich, we felt a bit exhausted to queue up again.

New and stylish hotel.

Next to train station.
And there is a grocery store in the hotel.
1. We were initially given a disabled-accessible room and were told that an extra bed would be provided within a few hours. When we returned to the hotel, there was still no bed, and we had to change rooms. As we were staying for only one night, this was quite inconvenient and took up valuable time.
2. Also, although the hotel is only a few kilometres from the city centre, getting a taxi was often difficult and journeys were surprisingly slow. With attractions closing early, this made it challenging to plan our days.

Our group were given lovely rooms on the 3rd floor but we all had to change rooms because the gym was on the 4th floor above us (not on the basement or ground level like many gym facilities).
A lot of people were using the gym - a group of people had apparently booked in together and were enquiring about the gym - and the noise from the weights and/or things being thrown around was unbearable and non-stop for two days.
Reception were very helpful and efficient in changing us to quiet rooms but nobody ever came back to us to explain what the noise was, and we had to complain via whatsapp messages as nobody picks up the phone. It seems they might be under-staffed. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel but don’t get a room on the 3rd floor if a lot of people want to thrown things around in the gym at the same time!
