Very welcoming host in lovely cottage in very quiet hamlet. Great breakfasts and good wi fi. I enjoyed my break of 3 nights after so many years of not being in Wales. It's a good place to stay for walkers and cyclists. It's a great place as a base to explore central Wales, the Dyfi Valley, the Osprey Centre and the coastline of Aberdovey to Barmouth. The train service to the North and to Aber is just 3 miles away in Machynlleth and is frequent enough to have day trips and then returning to the base. The station has free parking for train travellers and there's some paid for parking about 5 minutes away at a storage centre. The nearest pub is the Dovey Valley Hotel at Cemmaes Road or there are at least five in Machynlleth.
I would like there to be a dedicated space for parking as it was difficult to turn and park close to the cottage. In fairness it does say no parking but that makes it hard when you are in a car.

The host is amazing. She picked me up from the station and offered me a left everyday (for a rate less than the local taxi company) to the bike park, town or shop
In general just super helpful with everything
The coffee in the morning. It might be an english thing but only instant coffee was available
The location Is remote and there is no place in the area where one could get dinner..
This point so did not bother me but it would be good to know it in advance: there is a dog and two cats in the place
