This is an amazing house in Brockenhurst village. Great location for exploring the New forest and within walking distance to pubs and restaurants. We travelled to the coast, the surrounding villages and to lots of lovely walks including a 5 mile walk around Brockenhurst. The house is spacious, has everything a family could need and is very quiet and homely. Our children loved the playhouse and we loved the bright kitchen and living area. Alison was very responsive and helpful with recommendations. We would love to come back again!

Attractive and very well equipped family house
Attractive and very well equipped family house
The house was in a brilliant position in a quiet road very near the station and near the village shops. It was the most well equipped house I’ve ever stayed in with a great range of kitchen and garden equipment and a fantastic selection of toys for children of all ages. The garden was perfect for two infants, lots of grass and well enclosed and there was room in the Wendy house to store our bikes. So everyone was happy!

Amazing property
Amazing property
We have just spent a wonderful week with our family at Hathersage Cottage and we can't recommend it highly enough - we arrived to a vase of fresh flowers, a generous welcome basket and a handwritten note from owners Alison and Jeff that really set the tone for the stay. The house is clean, quiet, comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly ever need. The location couldn't be better, it's near to Brockenhurst station, the shops, pubs and restaurants and lots of great forest walks and bike rides. It's the perfect base for exploring the New Forest and surrounding areas. We look forward to returning to this lovely home away from home.
