About this cabin rental
Located in South Londonderry, this attractive cabin for $163 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Private log cabin on Magic Mountain with your own trout pond for fly fishing! This property is walking distance from the main base lodge at Magic Mountain and great hiking trails. The town of Londonderry is less than a 5 minute drive to the grocery store and restaurants. The kitchen is equipped with cooking supplies, refrigerator, stove top (no oven), microwave, coffee maker and a BBQ outside. Enjoy an outdoor shower with a beautiful view of Green Mountains (note: there is no indoor shower). The outdoor shower is fully covered and robes are provided for ease of changing but shower shoes are advised. There is one queen bed in the main area and a loft with two beds to sleep 2 adults. the trout cabin was fantastic, cute little cabin located in a corner or the property. We enjoyed our stay, it was cold and rainy the last two days, but with the wood stove, it was so cozy. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin. The scenery here is spectacular. The area was quiet and the people were friendly. The hosts were very responsive. Highly recommend staying here. Looking forward to a return stay.

Plain and simple, it was as described. The many positive reviews helped reassure us that this would be a great place for us based on what our tastes are, and we were not disappointed. Leaves were better than we anticipated, and we spent a lot of time at "home base", as I was teaching my wife how to flyfish, and she absolutely loved it. We were also told by the host that we probably got the best week of weather in a very long time up there. Just a great getaway, if "get away" is what you are looking for. We will be back...it may become an annual pilgrimage.

We loved the trout cabin. Sitting on the front porch every evening, with a glass of wine, was a perfect ending to our days.

This place is a little slice of heaven. My partner and I fell in love the second we drove up to the property. Everything was perfect! Super clean, secluded and precious. We cannot recommend this place enough!

This is our second year. We love the attention to detail. The outdoor shower in nature. The singing frogs and the blue heron who visits. It is a magical place. Thank you for sharing it with us.

This property was perfect for us unfortunately there was heavy non-stop rain which shortened our stay. Yes this was very damaging rain to the town I can only hope everything is back to normal. The hosts and the owners were very nice and because of the circumstances credited us with the time we lost. We’re looking forward to our return trip.

This place was absolutely beautiful!! Secluded away from houses and the busyness of life; it was so nice to have this peaceful place to relax in. The cabin itself is so cozy and homey. Not to mention the place is equipped with a private pond, outdoor shower, and fire pit which make the trip that much better. The views of wildlife and nature are surreal. It was nice to enjoy them while sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee. We also found some hiking trails walking distance from the place, which was super fun to explore as well. The hosts were nothing but kind and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!! No place I’ve been to so far can compare. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay:’)

Loved this cabin so much. You barely notice the houses behind. The property feels more secluded than the pictures convey.

Fridge stopped working, all my groceries went bad the first night. Was taking a shower and the lawn man was coming around, too many houses, no views. Bed was awful, couch too small, not enough towels.

The cabin was immaculately clean. The pics of the cabin totally captured the very cute cabin. We might have missed in the listing that there was only an outdoor shower and the dogs were not allowed on the furniture and bed. Totally understand that dog requirement, but I missed it until the day before arrival. The kitchen was beautifully stocked and the entertainment system was great. We loved the fire pit and the wood burning stove. Instructions to enter the cabin were delayed by a failed email (?), so that was a bit of a stressor. Overall, a wonderful weekend getaway.

Our stay was great! Such a cute little cabin with everything you need inside and just a short drive to town for groceries. We enjoyed a hike nearby and spent our nights grilling and enjoyed the heat from the wood stove. Would definitely come back!

Expectations were high before the stay, but after the first night we had fallen in love with the cabin, the pond, the property, and the neighborhood! Cozy, cute, warm and inviting...and free firewood. This will be our first stop on all future Vermont trips!

The property is beautiful and the fall foliage added to its uniqueness. The cabin was clean and everything you needed was provided. We loved the indoor wood stove, the porch, and the surrounding towns. We have never been to mountains before and this place certainly didn’t disappoint!

Trout Cabin was a cozy little cabin that was immaculately clean with great communication from the owner. The most well equipped VRBO on a gorgeous property. Could not have pictured a better place to get engaged!!!

A perfect 4 day retreat for us and our pups. Everything was comfortable and clean and the property was very picturesque. The pond was beautiful and the fish were jumping. The bed was comfy and super toasty at night. We were able to see the moon overhead from the outdoor shower and we even spotted the Milky Way in the night sky. Thank you for creating such a perfect little spot in the mountains.!

We had a great long weekend at the cabin. The hosts were awesome and quick to respond. The cabin was clean and exactly as advertised. We will visit again.

We spent a couple nights here just relaxing and getting away. This cabin provides everything you could need, a nice gas grill, an outdoor fire pit and an indoor fireplace. The bathroom is small and the shower is outside but private enough. This cabin is perfect for a couple or a small family. The main sleeping area is downstairs with additional sleeping in the loft. A kitchenette with a small refrigerator, 2 burner stove and a microwave has everything to cook meals. The sink is a bit small but functional. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the pond.

This cabin reminded me of where I grew up as a child. We had a private cabin on a private lake on my parents property .. sitting at this cabin in the morning listening to the frogs and the birds flooded me with memories
The owners of the property were amazing with responses to questions I had prior to arrival. There are homes behind the cabin but nobody were in there so the privacy and seclusion of the cabin was perfect.. Nothing will beat an outdoor shower with the sun setting during a hot summer day !!
