Nestled in Rio Grande, this charming villa for $125 per night is a great option for your next trip. Our Greek-Spanish Style Villa is located in the Cluster # 1 within the Wyndham Rio Mar complex. The Villa is equipped with two rooms, the Master bedroom that has a Full size bed and Full size love seat-bed with 45" TV set with cable, DVD Player and WiFi. Our second room is equipped with a Twin/Full Bunk bed and WiFi. Our family room is equipped with two sofa-bed for the extra sleep space. The family room includes amenities such as a Full HD 60" LCD Flat Television, TV, WiFi, Roku Channels. All of our sleeping areas are air conditioned making it perfect for a family getaway or a business stay in the heart of the Caribbean. The Villa has a spectacular view of the golf course (Ocean Course Hole #9). It has a cross ventilated layout which makes it ideal for enjoying the breathtaking tropical scenery from the outdoor terrace. The Villa has a and fully equipped kitchen with quartz counter tops & stainless steel appliances. Fresh linens and towels are provided. A Golf Cart in included for the duration of your stay. A secluded Pool with direct access to the beach is also accessible for our Villa Guest in the west corner of the Rio Mar complex. With its natural surroundings, our Villa has a bit of Greek-Spanish flavor in its exterior design and throughout the Cluster #1 complex. Located just in front of the Ocean Golf Course (Hole #9) our guest enjoys the breathtaking view of the course during the day and the relaxing time during the night making it perfect for Golf lovers as well. It also has direct access to the course with our private staircase access from the Terrace. Villa guests are welcomed at the hotel and can enjoy the various amenities offered including golf, tennis, the casino, restaurants, gym and the Mandara Spa. Satisfy your appetite at one of the resort's restaurants and quench your thirst at a bar/lounge, a beach bar, or a poolside bar of the hotel. NOTE: Hotel pool is ONLY FOR HOTEL GUESTS . During your stay, you will use the Member's Pool located at the east side of the Rio-Mar Complex with direct access to the beach. As you explore around the Rio Mar complex, the hotel has two championship golf courses (Ocean and River), a tennis Center with clay and hard courts. And of course, there's the beach, a mile long secluded sandy beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean where you can enjoy activities such as jet skiing, kite surfing, surfing, windsurfing, snorkeling and, of course, relaxing if that's what you want. If you are looking for just plain fun, situated across Rio Mar is El Yunque National Rainforest Park which makes our Villa provide the perfect home-base for adventure seekers as well as the relaxing stay. Enjoy beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls, tropical plants, and bird watching at the only rain forest in the national park system, or book a day of water-sports (snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, etc) at Las Cabezas de San Juan Bio Bay. If you're feeling extra adventurous, take the ferry to Vieques, which is home to one of the world's premier bioluminescent bays or Culebra Island's famed Flamenco Beach, which is rated one of the best in the world. We provide a golf cart for easier transportation within the complex and hotel but we highly recommend renting a car to move around the Island. We recommend a GPS or a GPS-Application in your smart phone for easier and faster lookout of all amenities outside the Rio Mar Complex. The hotel offers tours to the various attractions. Nearby attractions and activities include the Fajardo ferry boat to the Islands of Vieques and Culebra, the Rio Grande El Yunque National Rainforest with its majestic waterfalls, the bioluminescent lagoon of Fajardo, the scenic and historic Old San Juan, a Beltz Outlet Shopping Mall in Canovanas and horseback riding, canopy zip line, mountain biking and ATV riding in Carbali, Rio Grande.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 month stay at the villa. Very spacious rooms and had all the amenities we needed. The location is excellent and the golf cart was very convenient to get to the beach,pool or hotel.We will definitely be back.

The apartment was disgusting. It had not been clean before we arrived. The mattresses were stained, the bathroom with ants—the curtains with molds. It had a horrible smell. I had to buy Clorox to clean the apartment while I stayed.
The location was beautiful, golf cart a most, but the apartment needs to be updated. The owner has yet to communicate or ask us how we are doing. The access to the property could have been more transparent.

The villa overall is actually really nice, it has a mix of rustic + new upgrades, large enough for a family of 5 with all the amenities you need. But....
Unfortunately, there are things that must be upgraded and/or the owner must make sure are absolutely cleaned each time rented; the sofa bed mattresses for both sofas must to be replaced because they are horribly stained and have an odor. Additionally, the top bunk in the 2nd bedroom smells as if it was urinated on & lastly the futon mattress is also stained horribly & should be replaced. The 1 thing we noticed when we got there was that all the linens on the beds smelled funny so i went to replace them with the supposed clean linens supplied & much to my surprise i found a balled sheet that was peed stuffed in the linen closet causing all linens to smell. i had to literary take all bedding from all beds plus towels & wash everything everything with detergent & softner, giving me some peace of mind. Please make the upgrades & clean ALL linens, including towels after each rental stay & i guarantee we'll be back!!

This property was dirty, bed lines was not change on pull out couch, or bunk bed. We had to sweep the entire place because there was crumbs all over. The one bathroom had running warm water however the bath tub is rusted and water sprout had aluminum foil holding it. In the other shower it was cold water and the shower head would just let go of very little water. One of the bedroom had a cannabis grinder on the window ledge, which tells me nobody cleaned the window ledge. The location is great, I just wasn’t not happy walking into a filthy please!

We had a wonderful 6 weeks at the villa. The golf cart was great to access the beach. My husband enjoyed watching the golfers come by. The resort is beautiful! Thank you Omar!

Outstanding villa for long term stay. Great access to all the amenities within the resort and to the attractions on the island. Closest villa to the clubhouse that has two outstanding restaurants. A lot to do within the resort complex with superb golf, beach, spa and tennis.

My children and I enjoyed staying at Omar's Villa very much. We enjoyed the pool and how close the beach was. The Xbox and TVs were a nice way to unwind after a busy day. The kitchen is plenty big and has lots of things for cooking your own meals. Omar was helpful with the questions we had. Thanks!

The location of this property has convenient access to the beach via a short golf court drive. The overlook to golf course was nice as well. The downside were a few inconveniences. The villa needs a thorough cleaning. One bedroom had an oder we could get rid off even with deodorizing techniques. There was also an ant problem. Found them in the one of the beds and bathroom. In addition, the power went out a few times for hours at a time interrupting our plans. There was a generator for the kitchen and even that went out after a couple of hours. The shower heads need replacement and water pressure was low. I placed a complaint about the power and got a response that was patronizing. There is no visitor parking at the villa.
While we enjoyed the beach the most, the living conditions left much to be desired.

The location of this unit within the massive Rio Mar complex is ideal. Read your manual carefully for directions. It can be difficult to find. The golf cart provided with this unit is a game changer, allowing you to easily get to the beach and pool. We were able to book 4A for less than many of the other options. However, it is not a luxury condo, showing its age and lacking in visual appeal. Things like nice lighting, coffee tables for beverages, and floor rugs are lacking. The water takes quite awhile to get warm, and never gets very hot. However, the wifi is screaming fast and the TVs are large and great quality. The owner has provided numerous streaming platforms for entertainment. There is also an Xbox 1 which is great. The balcony boasts a beautiful view of the golf course and was our favorite place to relax while staying here. It does not have a grill unfortunately, which brings me to food options. If you plan to cook in the unit, you have limited options. There is not an oven. There is a stove top, micro, and toaster oven. Also, the Wyndham technically does not allow Rio Mar guests to dine there. If they find out you are not staying there you will be turned away. There is a food truck at the Rio Mar pool, and a bar which is only open on weekends. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

It's equipped with all we need as a family. First time renting with VRBO
It was a bit hard to find and we weren’t sure which gate to enter for Cluster 1. Finding the villa was also quite difficult, there are a lot of stairs. Once inside the villa is ok, not the nicest place we’ve stayed but it had almost everything we needed. It would have been nice to have a grill or a full size oven, but the toaster oven worked for most the stuff we cooked. My sister’s family also rented villa in Cluster 7 so we cooked most if our meals there. The food at the restaurants is so over priced we only ate there once. My 12 years son ordered a kids burger for $8 and it was about the size of a quarter, and 6 chicken wings are $12. We were also disappointed to find out that we could not use the resort pools they are for timeshare members only. The pool we had access to is kind of far and not as nice, but the villa has everything you need for a fun day at the beach, chairs, umbrella, coolers, wave boards etc..the villa also has a hose area outside the door to clean sand off various things. Having a golf cart is a necessity, parking at the resort is not free, but they will validate if you eat at a restaurant or gamble at the casino. The showers in the villa take a really long time to warm up and the water pressure is not good, and the beds are a bit squeaky. My son ended up sleeping on one of the pullout couches because the top bunk was too uncomfortable. Also we could not get the AC unit in the main living area to work so we just used the fans. The location is great if you are a golfer, right on the 9th green. Had to keep the curtains closed most of the time because people are right outside the patio. There was also a golf tournament that woke us up with blaring music and announcers at 6:30am. Since we came right before the COVID 19 pandemic everything started to shut down, and the whole island has put on curfew for the last 3 days of our stay. We couldn’t get a ferry to Chulebra/Flamanco island and our bio bay tour was cancelled. They closed the casino in the resort and the pools. Overall it was kind of a disappointing vacation, but the villa was fine.

Our family loved our 2 week stay, everything was just as described, it even has a air fryer and juicer, the view was amazing , Omar is great , he reached out to us half way through our stay to make sure everything was ok, we loved having the golf cart to get to the beach and resort ,we plan on coming back next year...

Only issue was finding it late at night. The Cluster One signs are very difficult to see in the dark at night. Once we found the correct gate and the villa, we had a wonderful time. There were no issues with the villa.

The Villa was situated overlooking the golf course. It was well maintained and cleaned. Everything that was mentioned in the description was actually in the Villa. The resort is beautiful, the pool and beach are clean and beautiful. The golf cart was great to get to both the pool and beach. A wonderful vacation spot.

Very Much Enjoyed
We would recommend this Villa to any of our family or friends. We enjoyed everything from the grounds, the amazing beaches, pool, to cooking in the kitchen which included most our basic needs. The golf cart made our stay even more enjoyable and I'd highly recommend using it. The staff was pleasant and we enjoyed food at the Wyndham one day. Omar was very responsive to any of my questions and if we ever make it back to PR again I will be staying in this villa again.
I will say we arrived late in the evening and because I had no internet on my phone and had not downloaded the instructions of the villa it made it difficult to find the correct villa and parking space. We arrived at the gate entrance and was asked what villa we were staying. I proceeded with 4a but what they were really after was cluster 1. We could not get in cluster 1 without a the remote which is left in the condo. We were finally able to get in after waiting for one of the guests who happened to be entering and allowed us in. Once inside the gate it was difficult to find 4 a since the golf cart is in the car space and the 4a sign is covered by a Bush. Other than that our stay was fabulous! Thank you Omar we loved our stay.

Nearly perfect in every way!
Beautiful villa, beautiful setting right on the magnificent golf course, large enough to entertain guests, close to stores and restaurants. Could use an automatic dish washer. Definitely would rent again.

Beautifully appointed apartment. Gracious and attentive owner.
Beautiful setting. Well appointed living quarters. Omar was wonderful host and responded to any inquiries immediately.. New kitchen was a joy to work in. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets as viewed from charming veranda. (Ate all meals out there!) Lots of steps (33) from parking lot to apartment but golf cart offset inconvenience of transporting luggage and groceries and was a real thrill for our three little children going to beach and pool.
Only suggestions: 1)Need more dishes. Place setting for four not enough for six people. 2) In bedroom with bunk beds, need either a dresser for clothes or benches to put suitcases on, and a lamp. Otherwise, everything was great...including lots of nice towels and plenty of bed linen.

January Retreat
My family and I spent a few weeks at this villa in Rio Mar, in January 2019. It is our second time. The owner has gone above and beyond to have the villa filled with everything we need. The golf cart was really helpful, it brought us around the golf courses, pool, and the beautiful beach. The owner has added a TV in one bedroom which the kids really enjoyed since that room has a bunk bed, the living room, and master bedroom have TV's as well.
The kitchen also well stocked easily accommodated a fancy dinner or taco night! We will return again, hopefully real soon. Thank you kindly. Naomi Castillo Smith

Beautiful Villa inside Wyndham Rio Grande.
We loved the villa and were happy that everything was working post hurricane. The a/c worked, laundry worked and there was hot water in the showers. The area was safe and we were able to use the amenities at the hotel. The villa was right on the golf course as described and the use of the golf cart was nice to get to the hotel, beach and pools. Very close to Luquillo for outings. owner helped us with directions and small issues when we arrived and was responsive to our questions. If I had to make any suggestions, I would have preferred a larger bed (it’s a comfy double) in the master bedroom and a bedside table on both sides of the bed. We did change the sheets upon arrival. I would have also preferred a duvet cover that could be washed on the master bed. It was overall a really perfect place to stay and we enjoyed having more space than we would in a hotel room.
