Situated in Canyon Lake, this charming house for $376 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. 3/1.5 home. Sleeps 12. Master: King. 2nd bedroom: Queen. 3rd bedroom: Twin over Twin bunk and a Twin over Full bunk. Living room: 2 futons. 2 dogs allowed. MUST BE 25 TO RENT. Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented at check in or via email. Tube - Kayak - Fish from private riverfront or relax and enjoy the view. Ideal location for your family vacation. Whether you are looking for beautiful views, tubing, fishing, roasting marshmallows or just home has it all!!! Patio at river's edge with steps allows easy entrance into river. Large deck on the front of the house affords great views of the Guadalupe River. 40 ft of private riverfront property is perfect for spending the day swimming, kayaking, tubing and relaxing. Home sits on a 1/2 acre of fenced in land giving privacy and plenty of room for outdoor activities. kayak with paddle included for guest use. Private Guadalupe riverfront property is across the street 200 ft from the house and includes a large stone patio a few feet from the river. Patio is perfect for setting up canopies and chairs and spending the day. Six stone steps at river edge allow for an easy walking entrance into river. This location on river is perfect for wading, swimming, floating in a tube or just relaxing as you watch others float by. Tube and raft rental is next door. Food and drinks are available at the Lone Star Float House a short walk up River Road. Home is fully furnished with an open kitchen/dining/living room which include many extra amenities. Large island for extra seating in the full kitchen which includes dishes, all appliances and cookware. Sheets, bath towels, pillows and linens are included for all beds. Living room has 2 recliners and 2 futons, flat screen HD TV, DVD, and VCR. The master bedroom has a king bed and YouTube TV. The guest bedroom has a queen size bed with YouTube TV and the 2nd guestroom has a twin over twin bunk bed and a twin over full bunk bed. House has high speed internet/WIFI and YouTube television. Washer and dryer are available for your convenience. A gas grill, charcoal grill and fire pit (fire wood not provided). 2 of the bedrooms have flat screen TVs with YouTube TV. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. This home has a maximum occupancy of 12 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. This property allows 2 dogs max under 40 lbs. There is a $150 one time dog fee. You can park 4-5 vehicles at this property. The house is conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown New Braunfels, historic Gruene and Schlitterbahn water park. Shopping is just 20 minutes away at the outlet Malls of San Marcos. Nearby attractions in San Antonio include the Alamo, Fiesta Texas, and the famous San Antonio River Walk, just 30 minutes away. We loved this home, it was very clean and is exactly as presented. There is plenty of seating, the AC worked really well and kept the house cool. It is within walking distance of a place with great food & tube rentals. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the home, there was plenty of space for our group and the kids loved the deck. The river felt fantastic, and it's a very short walk. There is only one shower which was not a problem for our group. There are two toilets which worked well for us.

We had so much fun on our river trip with close friends. The location was great and we had plenty of room for the 7 of us. I do wish there was another shower but we made due. There were a lot of ants in the kitchen so make sure you do a thorough job cleaning after cooking.

This place is overrated and bought the insurance just in case as we were only staying a short while. After the fact we are being charged for damage that is not specifics just general. The place is very old and needs an update for the price and seems anyone that books is being charged for any maintenance as they said a window was damaged which we did not also a door. Glad we got the insurance and will be sure to do video of the place when we get there and also a video when we leave moving forward. Sad to see how people do their business these days

We made a last minute escape from the city and our normal new year’s celebration. With only a few places allowing pets, we chose this place and it exceeded our expectations. The place was nice and clean, even with last minute preparation, board games and a small surplus of movies to keep the kids busy. Apps on the tv’s also helped but we couldn’t get the arcade game to turn on, no big deal. The front porch was nice and relaxing with a propane grill and enough seating for everyone to relax and watch the neighbors pop fire works while we grilled some burgers. Definitely would stay here again or at any of their other awesome properties.

This vacation rental lacks attention and had the weirdest smell of a backed up sewer. The towels were originally white but greyed with stains of dirt. The bed covers had stains and were not clean. The kitchen doors were falling off or all the way off. There is a toilet next to a fridge and the washing machine.

This is a good property that could be excellent with a bit of updating. The house has a huge yard that's great for kids and dogs, and the river is across the road. The only real bummer here is the master bedroom has the ac air handler in a closet in the bedroom, and it's really, really loud. Overall, I'd say best for big parties rather than a quiet getaway for a couple or few.

Lazy A was an every year rental for our family. Now they've built a huge rental in front of it and our river view is small now. 10 cars were parked at the rental across the street. Our access to the river was used by the new rental also. Lazy A was clean. It's just outdated now. With only one shower for twelve people. I received at least 5 emails with the rules, and they are posted all over the house. And abide by the rules. I know the rental across the street has the same rules but they were not followed. We will look for a new rental next year probably with the same company because they have so many on river road. We will miss the old Lazy A when there was no house in front of it blocking the river view and people everywhere

We had a great location with easy access to Gruene, New Braunfels and out to other destinations in the hill country. Just down the river from the horseshoe and Canyon Lake it was a blast to play in the river and enjoyed the space to spread out with our family who were visiting from West Texas.

Nice Getaway
The house and property was as advertised. River access was nice, just know that you have to cross River Road and walk down semi steep gravel driveway to patio. Was able to leave pop-up overnight. Overall, exactly what we needed as a getaway. No cell coverage for Verizon....which I kind of enjoyed!

We had several kids from toddler to 16 and dogs. The fenced property was great but there is an area of the fence that dogs can get out. Ours got out several times. During the week, the river is dead and it is feels like your personal river. The concrete patio by the water is perfect for a pop up tent. We left it down there the entire time and noone bothered it.

We all enjoyed it. My only complaint was the stinginess of toilet paper and paper towels. When you are paying that much for so few days it seems like yall could be a little more generous. There were 12 of us.

We had a very nice experience renting this house. It had everything we needed! 2 families (5 kids) fit well. The futons were comfortable for the extra sleeping areas, and they had dark curtains in the den where the futons are so that was a good touch! Kitchen well equiped.

Great location. Great communication
House had nice large living area and porch. We had two families (9 people). The futons were comfortable for sleeping.
Kitchen well stocked w cooking and utensils. Loved being close to the river. And so convenient to walk across street to Bezdeks to rent our tubes.
Note that this house is across the road so you do get some road noise during busy times (weekend)
But it did not detract from our stay!

Floating- rent from Bezdeks. River was flowing fast ... here are our float times:
Gypsy dropoff was about 1 hour float
The chutes are between gypsey and bezdeks.
Mountain Breeze was 2 hours
Mekleks Landing about 3 hours
Little ponderosa about 6 hours
Pack a cooler and snacks! Get a tube w a bottom to hold cooler.

We rented this property mainly as a place to stay for my daughter's graduation from Texas State. We did early check-in Friday and headed straight for our little slice of the river and about an hour into the stay we decided we wanted to add a day to relax that Sunday following graduation. The service was extremely accommodating and friendly, God knows I called them at least 4 times with different questions. It was a blast. We cooked and played games all through the evening. They have an excellent array of board games and VCR Tapes. My college kids were dumbstruck over the VCR. LOL Overall it is a nice clean property that fit our needs very well!

This is the perfect house for a group of people!
We had a blast on the annual trip to the river! The house accommodated us perfect! The best part is the private piece of river with built on patio. It’s on river road so everything is close. We used Little Ponderosa shuttle service down the road to float!

This is the second time we have stayed here. It very convenient and relaxing. Great get away if you are looking for simple life. The house has what is useful as long as you do not have mentality of everything must be new. It is an older home but comfy and great location!
