Villa Tara is a quiet, beautifully kept 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom Gulf access vacation home perfect for guests who want a relaxed home base. Featuring a private heated pool, boat dock, and a central Cape Coral location that come together for an effortless stay.
The home sits on a peaceful residential canal tucked into the Pelican neighborhood of central Cape Coral. Popular restaurants, shopping, and golf courses are all just 5–15 minutes away, and Fort Myers is a short drive further. The beaches of Sanibel, Captiva, and Fort Myers Beach are about 35 minutes out.
Sleeping Arrangements:
- Master Bedroom: King bed, en-suite bathroom with dual vanities, soaking tub, step-in shower
- Bedroom 2: Queen bed, streaming TV.
- Bedroom 3: Queen bed, streaming TV
- Guest Bathroom: Dual sinks, walk-in shower, pool access
The home is designed around natural light and that classic Florida indoor-outdoor feel, with sliding glass doors connecting the dining space directly to the pool lanai. The fully equipped kitchen has ample counter space, breakfast nook, and a full appliance suite. Guests love the generous pantry and closet storage. High-speed WiFi runs throughout the home.
Step outside to an electric-heated pool surrounded by a screened lanai. The private dock on the Gulf access canal gives guests a spot to fish, dock a boat, or simply enjoy the waterfront. The outdoor space also includes a gas grill (guests provide propane), lounge chairs, and a private patio. Everything needed for a lazy pool day or a sunset dinner!
Rates & Policies:
- The base rate includes up to 4 guests. There is an additional fee for extra guests.
- Absolutely no pets allowed.
- Electric charge is prepaid and included in the reservation.
- Initial supply of consumables (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, garbage bags, etc.) is provided for approximately 3–5 days.
- Guests are responsible for providing their own propane. There is a propane tank at the home, but the level of gas is not monitored by the property manager.

We loved staying here. It is well cared for, well stocked with cook ware. Nicely decorated. Very clean. Everything worked, and that isn't always the case in rentals! Flo was very helpful with everything. Lots of pantry and closet space for storage! Beds were comfortable. Great location that was close to everything we needed. We definitely would like to come back and would trust Flo to handle anything that might be a problem. He is prompt and reliable!

My partner and I very much enjoyed our stay in this Cape Coral home as a three week winter getaway from thenorthern cold. As seniors, we enjoyed walking the quiet neighborhood each morning and seeing the burrowing owls basking in the early sunshine. The pool area was delightful for swimming, relaxation, birdwatching and meals. The pool was cared for each week and was warm. The home was spacious enough to have our family visit for a few nights and decorated nicely. The kitchen was stocked well, but could use some new cookware. The weather was great during our stay, so the pool was used a lot, as the home is not really near an ocean beach. Check in was easy and communication went well with the host. We were pleased with our stay!

We appreciated how clean the Villa was upon our arrival. We were pleased with all the amenities. Much thought and care to make this a home away from home was obvious. Thank you! We will surely return for a longer stay in the future.

The property was as listed. Beautiful home inside and out! The pool was terrific! It was a great location for us, as we were visiting family close by. Other than food, everything was there for us. The canal was awesome! We saw quite a few fish when we were outside.
