Star's Place near 3 Nat'l Parks - Family and Pet friendly
About this house rental
Nestled in Kanab, this charming house for $150 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This comfortable home is centrally located near Zions, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Grand Staircase-Escalante Monument, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, and Brian Head. Fully furnished in a quiet neighborhood. Three minutes to downtown. Nice home, built in 2009, with fully fenced yard, ideal for those traveling with pets or small children. There are three bedrooms. All three rooms have queen bed, a dresser, nightstand, lamp, and closet. The master bedroom also has a small walk-in closet and private bathroom. The other two bedrooms share the bathroom in the hall. The living room is smaller-sized. It has a cozy loveseat, recliner, flat-screen TV with Blu-ray player. There is a business center nook tucked under the staircase with desk and chair. In the kitchen, there is no actual dining table, but we have just typically used the counter for eating. There are 4 bar stools at the counter. The cupboards are stocked with standard dishes and seasonings. We would love to make your stay more enjoyable. Please let me know if there is something specific you would like to have on hand, and I'll do my best to deliver. Kitchen has standard appliances. Off the kitchen is a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a pantry room. There is also a small broom closet by the doorway to the garage that houses broom, mop, and vacuum for your convenience. 2-car garage, street parking, and graveled parking--ideal for parking a boat, toy hauler, trailers, etc. I do have some things stored temporarily in the garage so right now only one car will fit. Interaction with Guests: I will be available for check-in and check-out and on call for additional help, but other interactions will be minimal as I have several small children, and other obligations that make it challenging to spend lots of one-on-one time with guests. But I will strive to be as accommodating as possible to make your stay enjoyable. The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly. You'll see folks stroll by in the cool summer evenings. Some of the neighbor kids will ride bikes by or take their dog for a walk. The beautiful red mountains are there to enjoy outside the front door. You are a quick drive to the gas stations, grocery stores, movie theater, and down-home shopping. Getting around: There is no public transportation available, but there is good parking available on the property.

We loved our stay at the house! It was super clean and all the instructions were impeccable. The host was nice enough to stock breakfast for us! The house had all the utensils needed plus bowls and covers for dogs. The dogs loved to play in the front yard. No complaints!! Star is a wonderful host!

This is the most family friendly VRBO we've ever stayed in. It was homey, without having breakables! The house was well stocked and everything was easy to find. It's set in a quiet neighborhood, but still manages to be close to everything. When I had questions or concerns, Star was really responsive and friendly. 100% would recommend.

Star's Place was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked with toiletries/supplies. The fenced yard was great for our dogs. Kanab is a good central point to a lot of the sights.

Kanab is the greatest destination for all things outdoors. We enjoyed hiking, off roading, balloons and tunes, music festival, food trucks, lantern launch and the sunny February weather!
The home was immaculate, comfortable, well stocked with linens and food items, well equipped for cooking, outdoor gear and front yard patio. We loved our stay and highly recommend this property!!

Star had food in the refrigerator for us when we got there, eggs, orange juice fresh fruit! Much appreciated. We loved having access to the garage to keep the 3 Harleys in at night. Plenty of parking for 2 vehicles towing trailers. Very nice neighborhood. The living room could have been set up better with more seating. However, we weren’t there much during the day. Overall, I would recommend staying here. So convenient to go see North Rim of the Grand Canyon.Zion, and Bryce Canyon.

It was a great stay at this property. Lots of room for guests and I was pleasantly surprised to find all the bedrooms were downstairs. In a nice, quiet family neighborhood with a great yard for pets or kids to run around in. Plus - the kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of towels and other essentials that other rental properties don’t always think of. Star was a great host, responding quickly to every message and there was a very sweet welcome basket with some fruit and other goodies. Thanks for a great stay

The home worked great as a base camp for Hiking trips in the area. The house is very nice and clean, exactly as described. Yard is very nice for your pet. Owner was very easy to communicate with and helpful. We definitely would return here the next time we are in the area.

This VRBO was great! It was fully stocked with anything you could ever need. The location was perfect for us. The house was VERY clean and we felt right at home. This house has a great sized kitchen. We had six adults and one small child and it was plenty big for all of us. The front yard was large with a nice lawn. The bathrooms were spacious and had plenty of towels. We appreciated the quick responses from the owner and we would not hesitate to rent this home again. We will be returning for sure! Thanks Star! :)

None of the above concerns interfered with our ability to use the house. The location is perfect for visiting the major parks. We frequently travelled between Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell. The Grand Canyon and Hurricane. We Easterners got an appreciation of distance between points out west.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to explore Utah and Arizona. I would like to repeat my visit to Kanab with other members of my family in the future.

None of the above concerns interfered with our ability to use the house. The location is perfect for visiting the major parks. We frequently travelled between Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell. The Grand Canyon and Hurricane. We Easterners got an appreciation of distance between points out west.
