About this condo rental
Situated in Summerland, this lovely condo for $150 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Our ocean view studio is located one block to restaurants, the Red Kettle Coffee Shop, shopping and the beach. Our studio is furnished with a queen bed, a trundle bed, full bath, view deck, TV, and off street parking. Pets are welcome-max 2 pets. ($75 one time pet fee.) Provided: Linens Towels (Shower & Beach) Coffee maker/coffee - kpods, tea and creamer included Microwave Refrigerator Surfboard (1) & Boogie Boards (2) Beach Toys Ear Plugs - Summerland has great views but it does have freeway noise. Pet needs - just ask if you forgot anything. $75 one time pet fee. 2 dogs maximum. There is NO fenced yard.

I book A LOT of VRBOs and D’Arcy and her rental just knock it out of the park. A prime location, it does not suck looking out the windows and seeing the ocean from your bedroom. The rental is very easy to find, walking distance to everything Summerland has to offer and a short drive from Santa Barbara. The unit was absolutely spotless and I so appreciate all the small touches (snacks, drinks, even treats for the doggos). D’Arcy thinks of everything. It makes all the difference. You’re going to catch some slight traffic noise from the freeway, but the unit is very private and it shouldn’t disturb your sleep. Our first time in Summerland, we look forward to returning and staying with D’Arcy. 10/10. Would recommend!

Tho property has everything you need! Very cozy and quaint. The area is an old town feel with mom and pop shops and restaurants. The owners have a binder with all the info you need including descriptive directions for numerous hikes nearby. Very thoughtful owners who left a card and little gift to celebrate my birthday. We will definitely be returning! Perfect for an adult weekend getaway.

What a wonderfully special place to visit and stay at Amor Fati! The studio is so cozy and comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean off the balcony. Walking distance to the adorable Main Street of Summerland with great shops and restaurants and a short drive to scenic Santa Barbara.
The hosts D’Arcy and Mark thought of everything! There were snacks, treats for humans and fur children and everything you might need in the quaint studio. Communication was excellent and a special gift for my husband and I since we were celebrating our 10 year anniversary ❤️. Top notch and can’t wait to visit again!

Really love the location of this property. Easy walk to beach, restaurants, shops, etc. And the trail that goes all the way around Summerland, provided in the Information book, was so nice. Great way to see the whole town. I didn't bring my bike on this trip but will when I come back. So many cyclists roll through here and I understand why. Roads are nice, rolling hills, and smooth. Nearby trails for hiking and easy to get to neighboring towns of Santa Barbara and Ventura, if you are looking for even more to do. There is some noise from the freeway, especially right now with work that's being done on this stretch of highway, but host has a noise machine that allowed me to sleep quite well and drown most of that out. I brought my dog with me and was pleased with all the places I could take her. Summerland Cafe was expecially accommodating. Best part of the day is late afternoon, sitting on the balcony, looking at the ocean, with a glass of Summerland wine.

My wife and I stayed at Budda for 2 nights. Owner/Operator D'Arcy is wonderful, friendly, and thoughtful by stocking this gem with everything that a home away from home will need. The property is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. I do wish if this property is 100 plus yards higher, I think the view would be even better and less noisy from the highway traffic. Although if you close the windows and door, you don't hear the traffic. Overall, this is a very nice property.

Not the hosts fault but it was really noisy! Just be sure and turn the air on . They also have a be noise cancelling machine . I thought that was very thoughtful. In order to keep water in the tub they had a weird set of shower curtains set up which I didn’t like. It wasn’t possible to take a bath? Anyway a fun area to explore and a cute place to stay!

This property is as listed and then some!! It is well stocked, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Short drive to Montecito -use the frontage road, no need for the 101. If you have a dog with you, use the self-serve dog wash at the park and come home with clean doggie!! The hosts are very accommodating and helpful if you are looking for something or somewhere to go.

We spent an amazing weekend at Amor Fati! The space was fantastic and we loved being able to see (and hear!) the ocean waves. D’arcy and Mark were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating hosts - they thought of everything and more. Location is perfect for a dreamy getaway to Summerland. Looking forward to our next stay!

The property was clean and stay hassle free. Amenities were perfect for our needs. Owners were great and communication with them was smooth. I’d stay again and highly recommend.

D’Arcy is a great host and my fiancée and I had an amazing stay. The property is clean, spacious and quiet — and the balcony in particular is excellent. It’s barely 10 mins down the road from Santa Barbara so everything is easily accessible. Plus, it was my fiancée’s birthday 5/5 and D’Arcy thoughtfully gave her a small gift.
We had a blast and we would absolutely stay there again. Instructions to check in/out were straightforward and D’Arcy communicates immediately if you message her. Can’t recommend it highly enough for a weekend getaway.

It was better than advertised. We felt at home during our short getaway. D'Arcy had thought of everything to enhance our stay from snacks to beach towels. Windows everywhere that allowed the sun to shine in. The location is convenient and Summerland is a beautiful community. We were grateful that parking was on site and that we were guaranteed a spot. There was a convenient green patch along with treats that made our dog, Bella's stay perfect. We strongly recommend this to others. Thanks again!

My husband and I love this studio by the sea. D’Arcy’s thought of absolutely everything and our stay (our first in the area) couldn’t have been better. From booking, preparing to arrive, then our actual stay, D’Arcy was everything you’d hope for in a host. She gave us extremely helpful information about the area and made sure the unit was fully cleaned and stocked to ensure a wonderful stay, including snacks for our doggie. We really can’t say enough about the unit itself and how hard D’Arcy worked to make sure we had everything we needed. We walked the 2 short blocks to the beach every day (with the beach towels and chairs that came in the unit) and our dog loved to frolic in the sand. We also enjoyed all the restaurants we could walk to. We will absolutely be back to beautiful Summerland; we feel as though we’ve made a new friend in D’Arcy!

This was a perfect quiet homebase for us for a chill Santa Barbara weekend. It was a little rainy, so it was nice to have somewhere so cozy to come back to.

My son and I were in town for a lacrosse tournament in Carpinteria. We picked this place because of convenience (just 6 min away) and ended up really enjoying it more than we anticipated! The room is light-filled and well appointed. We especially liked being able to walk just a block or two to restaurants.

There are 2 things that make the difference between a good Vaca rental and an Exceptional one! And this rental had BOTH! For one it's the thoughtfulness that is poured into the rental. This is a small beach studio, the size of a hotel suite I'd say... But whether you stay for one night or 5, you will NOT go without a THING! It's efficiently laid out enough where everyone had ample space to relax and everything was so thoughtfully stocked. From extra towels- both beach and bath- (there were more towels then we've had staying in 3 bedroom villas in the past!) plenty of silverware and eating utensils, bathroom essentials (and "extras!") SNACKS! (thought of everyone from Mom and Dad to kiddos to furry friends!), beach gear, extra blankets, welcome book with suggestions... YOU NAME IT they HAVE IT! It was very thoughtful and you can tell a lot of care and love went in to hosting this sweet cottage. The second element that makes stays totally EXTRA are the hosts... From the moment of booking The Hosts had exceptional communication. The cottage is a beautifully remodeled detached studio in front of their main home. Since I was traveling alone with my children this time, the closeness of the hosts put me at comfort. Even convenient- since I had trouble opening the trundle bed one night and she was knocking within 30 seconds of texting her to help me out! (it was user error by the way...)- but if you are looking for more of a private experience in your stay, do not worry! We could have easily gone the whole stay without hearing a peep. They put thought into creating complete privacy for their guests. It's truly the best of both worlds. As for the location- not only could you not get closer to the beach (easy 2 block walk) or to anything in town (Ice cream sandwiches at Sandpiper, dinner at the Nugget, and coffee in the morning at Red Kettle), but it is merely a 10 minute drive to either Santa Barbara and Carpinteria. This may be the greatest stretch of the California coast for me. It feels intimate and cozy and "sleepy" while also providing enough to do to keep you and your family busy for over a week if you wanted! This is one we'll definitely be back to visit! Thanks for an incredible 2 night getaway!

Nice, clean and the perfect space to use to explore Summerland and SB funk zone. Proximity to the beach was awesome, the beach park was well appointed. Summerland Beach Cafe is a great spot for breakfast. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating.

This property is perfect for the couple that needs a few days in a beach town without being right on the water with its attendant crowds, t-shirt shops, etc. There is a nice porch to sit and have your morning coffee (supplied by owner), or a glass of wine (a bottle also supplied by owner).
