Clean rooms and lobby. Staff are friendly. You can use their diving service and it’s cheaper than the diving centers in town but maintains the quality of boat and equipment. The boss, Tony, is English and he focuses on you enjoying the place. My wife is Chinese and we did our diving license with a bilingual instructor.
This area is a little bit nicer than other areas of the city, they recommend great places to eat, plus is a short walk to the jetty and the intercity buses.
Rooms are a little small but Semporna is a diving place so you won’t likely be in your room all day.
