The most important view is certainly the cliff's of Los Gigantes which are completley awe inspiring and considering our Villa is postioned directly next to the cliff's you will have your own private viewing 24 hours a day. The marina is situated below the Villa affording you fantistic views of the small boats and fishing vessels leaving & entering the Marina. Look just outside the Marina and if you are lucky you will see bottlenose dolphins, spotted dolphins and common dolphins surfacing in the clear blue waters of the bay & if you are very fortunate you can even see long finned pilot whales, these animals are amazing & are well worth looking out for whilst you are relaxing and sunbathing on the Villa Terraces. Nature really is all around you at the villa so when you look up the cliff behind the villa you can see lot's of different types of birds nesting and flying past along with rabbits and goats running wild on the cliff edge.

Thank you so much for this wonderful vacation at Villa Maximus.
The Villa was perfect for 8 people. The outside area are big, cosy and with a breathtaking view I could just sit there and watch the ocean and the big cliffs “Los Gigantes” all day long.
Also the corresponding was smooth and easy - thank you Nick, Amanda, Kristian, Chloe, Jude and Janie. We had a fantastic vacation. We would love to come back.

Wonderful villa for family getaway with children. The kids loved the pool, and we enjoyed lots of meals on the terrace. Well stocked kitchen. Short but steep walk into the town.

Good but a little tired. Some things need updating. Dishwasher didn't clean properly, and some kitchen equipment needs updating.
With a bit of minor updating, could be amazing - but a great stay in a fabulous location. The sunsets were out of this world!

We just returned from 10 nights at the villa. We had a lovely and relaxing holiday. The kids loved the swimming pool, we all appreciated the stunning views and I certainly improved my stamina as I was running every morning in the area.
The hill is indeed very steep but as others have mentioned, this makes it very easy to get into the centre of Los Gigantes and a taxi to the villa only sets you back about 5 EUR.
The villa is well equipped and there is fast fiber internet and tons of TV channels.
For the most part, the area is quiet, although some construction was taking place in the neighbourhood but it was only noticeably noisy one day during our stay.
There are many bars and restaurants in the area and transportation is relatively cheap. We did not rent a car and I did not regret it as parking can be an issue.
The host is very responsive and helpful.
Overall, I would highly recommend this villa!

The villa was spotless and had all the right amenities. The location is fantastic - the terrace looks out over a famous beauty spot (Los Gigantes) and yet it’s quiet and secluded. You can also easily walk into town for the beach, harbour, bars and restaurants. Thanks to Janie and Gary for looking after us too. Highly recommended - will miss the nightly ritual of watching the sun set over the sea…………

Fantastic villa with stunning views!
Very comfortable villa with everything you could think off! Janie was there when we arrived and gave us the tour and lots of information on both the villa (how everything worked etc.) and also on the local area.
Outside area was amazing, the pool was just what we needed to cool off!
Location wise you are right on top of cliffs. Which means amazing views, but there is quite a hill to walk up and down. We didn't find it an issue, but we did get taxi's in the evening after dinner (max we paid was 7euro total!)!
The only negative was it would have been nice to have AC in all the bedrooms. But aside from that wouldn't hesitate to recommend Villa Maximus.

Fantastic spacious villa accommodating six adults and a toddler. Could not ask for anything better. Views from villa are amazing the outside terraces and pool were enjoyed by all the family.

Beautiful views and a well equipped comfortable property. We enjoyed the privacy, peace and tranquility and felt completely relaxed, would love to go back. Janie was amazing, place was really clean and she was helpful and easily contactable.
Resort was great lovely restaurants, especially down by the harbour.
We hired a car and parked by the harbour whilst eating, then drove back up, as hill back up quite steep.
Wish I was still having my morning coffee looking at the view!

The owners were very welcoming and the villa was beautiful. Not recommended for anyone with mobility problems unless you have a car due to the steep hill. Would definitely recommend.

We loved this beautiful property on Tenerife. Janine was amazing, and couldn't have been more helpful. The restaurants in Los Gigantes were beyond incredible, prices were more than fair, and the wait staff we had the pleasure of meeting could not have been more friendly. We enjoyed the walk down the hill, and the walk back up the hill was great exercise. Easy to get a taxi if need be. Highly recommend a visit to Mt. Teide… an amazing trip back in time… such different landscapes that make you think you’re in a different world. Highly recommend this stunning island and this impressive property.

Lovely Villa with stunning views. Well stocked kitchen, everything you needed. Wonderful outside space and pool nice and refreshing. As other reviews say it’s a long walk up the hill but it definitely can be done, taxis plentiful and it’s a 5 euro trip. Lidl 20minute walk away and again 5 euro taxi home.

Janine was very nice and helpful with the few issues we had during our stay. We have very much enjoyed our 2 weeks vacation. The only remarks we have are that the kitchen tools could need an update and with the very high temperature we had we really could have used air condition in the kitchen/living room area as well as in all bedrooms and not only in two of them.

Little piece of heaven
Had a fantastic 8 nights at Villa Maximus. When we arrived we were met by Janie who fully explained everything about the villa, and a welcome pack of essentials was fantastic.
The location of the villa is truly stunning with beautiful views, it’s very well equipped and has everything you need.
It’s roughly a 10 minute walk down to the centre where there are many lovely bars and restaurants and a very reasonable taxi ride back if you don’t want the walk back.
We really enjoyed our stay and found the whole experience very relaxing. Hopefully we can return in the not too distant future.

Spotlessly clean villa in prime location
We were so pleased to arrive to a very warm welcome, following excellent communication with Nick throughout the pandemic.
Spacious, quiet villa with a well stocked, clean kitchen. Perfect destination for our family of adults to relax and enjoy the pool. Well maintained throughout, and THOSE FABULOUS VIEWS!!
The resort of Los Gigantes has a very good choice of places to eat to provide fuel to walk back up to the villa!

Holiday heaven
Just returned home from a brilliant week in this amazing Villa. The location is absolutely stunning and the Villa extremely well equipped to a high specification. Highly recommended subject to the comments below.
A couple of points to note for those looking to hire this Villa: the walk from the marina takes about 15 minutes which is all uphill (steep in parts) so you need to be either reasonably fit or hire a vehicle; air conditioning is only present in the two en suite bedrooms although other rooms have ceiling fans.

From the rental to the reception at the villa, the handing over of the keys to the pool cleaning, everything worked without any problems.

Lockdown experience in lovely Villa Maximus!
Enjoyed our stay at Villa Maximus despite being affected by the lockdown in place at the time. Very grateful for the large & clean villa, terraces & pool that made the lockdown more than pleasant! Many thanks to Nick & Jamie for their connect in making sure that we were OK during the crisis & also that we had got home safely at the end of our stay. Perhaps we’ll have to com back again to try out those restaurant recommendations! Thanks also To Juan for the prompt response when we managed to snap off the key in the garden door lock!

Had to buy our own cleaning products to clean up a lot of sand and retrieve some furniture from the pool. Pool man came the next morning and was superb. Bedrooms could do with a deep clean and the villa was comfortable but a bit tired. Could have done with a few more glasses and more Mugs and plates to stop us having to run the dishwasher so often and a bread knife would have been good. Loved having Roberto the private chef cook us supper one evening. Parking is limited, but we always found somewhere and walked down to the town most evenings and got a taxi back, €5. Would recommend.

The perfect holiday villa.
We returned again to this villa after a fantastic stay last year. We returned because the beauty of its position is simply unbeatable. You're warmly welcomed to the villa which is spotless and has everything needed. We stayed 9 days and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Very highly recommended.

Great place for families
We really enjoyed Villa Maximus. We had four adults and four children and the place was perfect. The view is amazing and the deck and pool were great. The walk to town is easy and we walked back with the kids up the hill without problem. Overall the place had everything we needed. Thanks for having us!

Excellent Villa
This is a beautiful villa with amazing views from the terrace. The interior is of a very high standard with everything you may need during your stay. The master bedroom ensuite, the double bedroom ensuite, and a twin bedroom and family bathroom are all located on the lower level down a few stairs from the living area. The 4th bedroom (twin) is on the main living level, along with kitchen and living/dining area.
The pool is nice, a little small but fine for the amount of guests at the villa. During November the pool got the sun between around 11am-3pm. There are plenty of sun loungers, a bbq, outdoor table and chairs, and plenty of space on both terraces.
The villa is located high up at the top of a road (giving the fantastic views), but it is very easy to walk down into the town and harbour area for bars, cafe's, restaurants - takes around 15mins.
You can walk to Lidl in 15mins as well.
Taxi's back up the hill were always less than 5 euros, and very much appreciated!
Overall a brilliant stay in a lovely part of Tenerife. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful family holiday
Just returned from Villa Maximus (which is villa number 9 at the top of the road if driving and using sat nav) and we had a wonderful stay. As per previous guests reviews, the villa is as per the pictures /description and the view is spectacular.
The villa caters for all your needs and is in walking distance to the local town.
The villa is up a steep hill which is a bit of a walk and my elderly mother did struggle, so if this is a problem, my tip is either to use the taxis from the taxi rank back up the hill (at about 3.50 euros) or instead drive the car and park it down the hill / closer to the town (parking spaces permitting).
Overall a great rental and we would recommend it.

What a view! Great location and stunning Villa
We had an awesome 8 days at Villa Maximus. The rooms are all a good size, the kitchen works well and the pool is just great for cooling down. The walk down to the village is a good workout and we even walked home most evenings to help with the excesses of the day. I’m sure we will be back

Just returned from an amazing week at this villa. As soon as you walk into the villa the view is breath taking. The villa was fantastic and all within our party were taken away with it. Although it is on the hill side taxis are very cheap to the town and the supermarkets rarely costing anymore than €4. We would definitely 100% stay there again and would recommend to others. Child friendly accommodation. Thank you for a cracking holiday.

Unbelievably gorgeous view.
We had a fabulous time in this villa staying six nights. It was truly relaxing. Very easy to get to from the airport and near to everything you need. We had a lovely warm welcome and were very sad to leave. Would highly recommend.
