Peaceful beach getaway

Comfortable and spotlessly clean. The owners were friendly and hospitable. Nice front deck on every room. It was peaceful and quiet.

The bathrooms could use some updating. Shower was tiny and fixtures were old, although everything was functional.

Very good

Clean & comfortable accommodation. Short but interesting access through a field of bushes and across a creek to a fabulous, quiet, wide and long beach. Friendly and helpful proprietor.

sweet place to spend a night

Looooong hard sand beach a short tramp away, quiet neighborhood, clean and comfortable room. Close to the Green Lantern for pub and grub.

The stuffed chairs were present, but somewhat uncomfortable. The little kitchenette did not have a sharp knife.

Very good

We have stayed here quite often. Had a more basic room this time. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The clam kitchen is exceedingly well equipped. Everything is very clean, and the location is basically a dune away from the beach. A gorgeous little grocery store is in walking distance. So is a tavern.

The room was a bit dated, but we know that the new owner has been upgrading this motel bit by bit - so, it's great place to stay. Clamming doesn't need fancy, after all.

High times at the Lowtide

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location. Super friendly staff, felt like a stay at an old friend's house.

Unfortunately we had to go home. A longer stay would have been better.

We had a marvelous stay. Great place to get away from it all.

Beautiful area on the Washington coast. Wonderful owners. Couldn't ask for better weather the weekend we were there.

It could have been claming season, we just missed the season. We will be coming back in the right season.

Comfortable room great beach walks

It was old (that paneling of the 70s) and the bathroom was funky yet we were very comfortable. We liked the little dining area with the kitchen equipped with dishes silverware and glassware, fridge and even freezer. But the best thing were the chickens

The bathroom definitely needs some serious upgrading but we appreciated that we could open a window.

The owners are super nice, and this was the most dog friendly hotel I have ever stayed at. Slept great in the comfy bed, perfect pillows and super soft blanket.

great hosts,prices, not overcrowded, close to the beach, comfy beds, pillows and super clean place,

First of all know that it is 2 star Motel. So don't expect Hilton or Sheraton. Once you don't have wrong expectations then this motel will become the best place you have ever been. Decide what is import for you. If the following points are important like for us then you will be happy with it. 1. WONDERFUL hosts! 2. Clean rooms. 3. Snow white fresh bed sheets and towels - I had a feeling it was like brand new out of the package! 4. Comfortable beds and pillows. The last one is not a given thing even in 5 stars hotels:D 5. pet friendly and just for 10$ a night you can have your 4 -paws friend with you. 6. The proximity to the beach - if you take the path winding through some vegetation it would take 5 min, if you go on the road probably even less than that! 7. ON the beach even on the weekend in summer not too many people - everyone had enough space for himself -kites, water activities, just sitting there, walking. The dogs also were not crowded. When you travel with your dog you want to be relaxing time also for him and you don't want to be stressed by too many pets on one spot either. 8. It's not as touristic or crowded area in general as Ocean Shores. We extra wanted to be somewhat away from it. 9. Price: much more pleasant than in Ocean Shores. Once you travel with a bigger family it all adds up! 10. There is a restaurant and a grocery store within few min walking.11. you can camp there. To consider if you are 2 adults and 2 kids you won't be able to sleep all in one bed in one room. Even if you are 1 adult and 2 kids - will be tight on the bed. At least not the room we had. I had two rooms: in one was my mother and one of my kids on one bed and I was in the other room with another kid. This set up worked just fine. BUT maybe there are other rooms which I might have not seen when booking or maybe I was too late to the party - LOL and everything with more beds was booked - Just give a call to the owners before booking and talk about the...

Meh...your life might be better if you stayed elsewhere.

It was a nice, central stopping location on our trip around the Olympic Peninsula. It was private and a short hike to the beach.

The facility is very run-down and has not been updated nor well-maintained. Partially because of Covid and the overall look of the place, we set about cleaning with wipes and paper towels. The TV was tiny and in a place where a family could not watch it together. We didn't feel comfortable using the shower given its appearance. The craziest thing was that when I went to check in, the man and woman (who I think were married), were screaming obscenities at each other until I tapped the bell and then the woman came forward with a smile and big "how do you do"...I was shocked but also had to keep myself from laughing out loud. Thankfully, my teen son was in the car and didn't hear this interaction.

It was marvelous.

Didn't know what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was large and freshly renovated. We were just a short walk to the beach. The owners were very friendly.

We ate in the room. Dishes were provided with a microwave and fridge, but nothing to help us prepare food.

close proximity to the beach

mattress was uncomfortable water pressure is lacking for shower I am a spoiled and like all the amenities. I am picky on mattress comfort. Lowtides is a place to get away from the troubles of life. Genie (spelling) was an amazing host. talking with her was refreshing. she gave my grandson and daughter some sand dollars to paint….Jax absolutely loved it and is still talking about it. what memories we have to cherish!

The owners of the low tide were very friendly and accommodating.

The water pressure was our only problem.

Run down area and fisherman setup, though clean and practical for sport did not fit our expectation

Proprietor was friendly, accommodating and helpful. Room was clean with practical layout.

The old trailer type surroundings. This location was more of a fisherman's setup.
