strong design, nice bar
Gare du Nord in general is not the nicest place. In the night some strange persons run around the hotel.

We were met by friendly staff and allocated a quiet clean room of a good size. The location of the hotel was opposite Gare du Nord which was ideal when we departed Paris. Just 2 minutes from the hotel. There is also a metro station outside the entrance to the hotel which is perfect for exloring the city. Breakfast provided a good choice and plentiful. Housekeeping was also very good
Lighting in the room was a bit dark.

Location and space and funkiness
Housekeeping were very slack - I shouldn’t be responsible for reminding them to replenish the tea and coffee; cleaning could have been done better - there was an empty beer bottle which wasn’t mine left on the bathroom sink.
