Situated on a gentle rise of land, this location overlooks Port Clyde village and harbor, with views beyond the nearby islands to Muscongus Bay. Upon your arrival you can park inside the two bay garage or in one of the two off-road spots in front of the garage. The home is situated on a large sloping lot with gracious lawns and a spectacular professionally maintained flower garden. Just below the deck is the cutting garden with a winding stone walkway. You will find no shortage of inspiration at this beautiful location. The garden and lawn area are ideal for setting up easels, photography, watching butterflies or seeing a great variety of birds. The water is tidal here so you will need to time your swimming adventures with the tides, however there is the nearby Drift Inn Beach for more spontaneous dips! The Port Clyde General Store is just 5 minutes away and has moorings to rent for your convenience. You enter this beautiful home through the kitchen which has a modern feel. The attractive shelving design offers immediate assurance that you have everything needed to dine in. Prepare your favorite meals, or experiment with local fare such as fresh caught Maine lobster! The kitchen has a large range with oven, a full-sized stainless refrigerator with ice maker and filtered water, a dishwasher and all the dinnerware, utensils and cookware you might need. The sturdy island offers seating for 3 and is the perfect spot to gather for an intimate breakfast before starting your day.
