Garibaldi, quiet and uncrowded, very close to all services: bars, restaurants, bakery, supermarkets, beaches and fishing port just 100 meters away. Easy access to public transport (railways station) and taxis. Thanks to its central location, you can live the experience of the local life, the wineries, the habits of its inhabitants. Monterosso is part of 5 Terre (Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore) Independent access, going upstairs to the living room with sofa and kitchen. Bathroom with shower. Air conditioning. Equipped with free internet wi-fi and Netflix. -------------------------- Mine is a completely renovated accommodation in 2018 with independent access, typical house of the village of Monterosso al Mare - 5 Terre. It is located inside the historic center of Monterosso in a characteristic alley that starts from the central square G. Garibaldi, quiet and uncrowded, while remaining convenient to all services: bars, restaurants, bakery, supermarket, beach and fishing pier just 100 meters away. Easy access to all public transport (train station) and taxis. Thanks to its central location, you can experience the life of the place, its cellars, the habits of its inhabitants. Monterosso is part of the 5 Terre (Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore) all connected perfectly with train and boats. From the independent entrance, climbing the internal staircase on the first floor leads to the accommodation that is developed in a single bright environment with two large windows, a hallway separating the double bedroom from the living area with sofa bed and kitchenette. Bathroom with shower. Conditioned air. Free wi-fi and Netflix access.

This place felt like home! The area at first impression seems a little small but we didn’t need anything more. There is food spots all around at walking distance and the host was very communicative throughout

We loved the central location of this apartment. The unit was clean and comfortable for 2 people. We loved having cappuccinos across the way at MJs and the bakery was also conveniently located. It was very quiet at night. We shopped at the outdoor market on Wednesday and enjoyed cooking and eating in one night.

Apartment was very comfortable for a short stay in Cinque Terre. It is located on a quiet “street” in Monterosso (old town) but in very close proximity to restaurants, shopping, the beach and hiking trails. Host was helpful and responsive throughout.

Loved the apartment. Just the right size for our group of 4. Happy for the AC this time of year. Perfect location. Old Town was our fav. Steps are steep for those with mobility issues. Check in was smooth. Would stay here again.

Couldn't of asked for a better location and beautiful city. Comfortable bed and very good use of space. Everything is updated as well. Would definitely stay here again. If you plan to cook make sure to get oil and salt/pepper as well. Most str have them so I didnt get any at the store. Was easy to buy next day though and left for next guest.

This is an excellent property. It is exactly as the photos depict and it’s in excellent shape. It is also in a great location in OLD town, off the beaten path and quiet yet close to everything that matters. Other than a slight change in the check in process, which was communicated clearly by the host, everything was perfect. Plus the coffee shop across from the property, the MG Bar, is super convenient in the morning and they make an EXCELLENT Cafe Americano, for those so inclined. This is an excellent value with no compromises required. Thank you so much Sara!

Everything from check into check out was seamless. We had a wonderful stay in a very very comfortable VRBO. We are especially grateful to our hosts and their helpers at the MG bar. We look forward to returning to Monterossa and spending more time in this beautiful unit.

Sara’s place is conveniently located in the historic part of town with easy access to many restaurants, ferries and the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 nights there. Place was very quiet at night. Apartment was compact, but nicely updated with great AC and an amazing shower. Sara was very easy to get a hold of and provided clear instructions on how to access her place and enjoy Monterosso. I highly recommend her place for couples / singles spending time here on the Cinque Terre.

Great location. It is just a minutes walk from the beach, but at the same time tucked away from the the main tourist shops. There is a great little bar/cafe directly across the alley.

We were pleasantly surprised by the apartment. The photos don't do it justice. Sara has made turned the space into a very well organised and lovely designed space. Location is fantastic. Sara is very helpful.

The PERFECT Monterosso location!
This clean, nicely decorated, fully stocked apartment is steps from dining, shopping, the beach and about a 5-10 minute easy walk from the train station. Sara was quick to reply to any questions. Such a great location for hiking and exploring the other towns of the Cinque Terre and an easy day trip to Portofino. We loved everything about our stay and would highly recommend this apartment to other guests! Grazie Sara!

We were in the middle of a 2 week trip with 2 college sons. We had decided since only 2 nights in Cinque Terre to get a studio. It was able to accommodate us with the pull out bed and day bed. Place was very clean and owners were good communicators. Loved our stay.

It was a quiet street away from the traffic. The underground parking not far up the street was perfect place for our small car. It looks like they are building another parking garage right next to the one we used.
Note: the first two days was $25 a day. followed by $10 for each additional day. Make sure you park on the bottom two levels so your car with be protected from the hot sun.

Borgo Antico was the perfect place to stay for our 3 nights in Cinque Terra. Monterosso Is much less steep for walking than the other towns and there are plenty of good restaurants for aperitivo and dinner. The train is an easy walk so we had access to each of the other towns and we visited all but Corniglia. Monterosso also has the only sandy beach and I was able to catch some sun there while my husband napped. The steps up to the apartment were a challenge especially with our luggage but once we got there, the apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you to Monia from the coffee shop across the street for delicious breakfast and help with the keys and thank you to Sara for such a wonderful apartment.

Sara is wonderful! I had booked a different property last October and the owner canceled our reservation without explanation. (I later saw that the owner raised the rate over what we were paying which doesn’t seem right.) That left me scrambling to find accommodation very close to the time of our stay. I reached out to Sara and she was happy to accept our request. She was very easy to communicate with through WhatsApp and was always quick to reply when I had questions. We were late arriving our first day and didn’t realize the air conditioning unit wasn’t working properly until it was too late to have it fixed so our first night was warm. This didn’t bother my husband or me so much but my sons were uncomfortable. However, the unit was fixed the next day and we were all comfortable the second night. This was just one of those unfortunate things that happened and certainly could not have been predicted. It was fixed as soon as possible and we still enjoyed our stay very much.
This property is small, as you would expect in this location. It is beautifully updated to maximize the use of a small space. It is so updated I had trouble figuring out how to work the shower. It is on a quiet alley. Even with the windows open there isn’t any noise. My favorite part was walking 5 steps from the door to MG Bar for a cappuccino (or two) and croissant!!
Walking to the newer part of town to catch the train was easy. We were unable to do any hikes on this trip but my husband and I hope to return to do that. We would definitely stay in Sara’s lovely property again!

We enjoyed our stay. Nothing like being within a short walk to the sea. Not only in the middle of a charming town, but nice and quiet for sleeping. Apartment was clean and well appointed. Old Monterosso, Modern Convenience
Great location in Monterosso’s old town, the place to stay! Breakfast right outside your door at MG Bar, beach, restaurants and shops..you are in the heart of it all at Sara’s place. Very clean and comfortable with modern amenities and a great A/C! Also close to the hiking trail to the other Cinque Terre towns...a must for those in shape. Highly recommend!

Great little apartment in great location
Superb apartment in a great central location in Monterosso. Literally a few steps from the main street "via Roma" and the same distance from the main square and the beach in the Old Town. Would highly recommend this apartment for anyone staying in Monterosso, and if we return in the future I would not hesitate to ask Sara if she has availability

Beautiful and convenient
We stayed in Sara’s beautiful apartment. It was just what we had hoped for, easy location, nice furnishings and great storage. We hiked all day and then ate wonderful meals. Sara was very accommodating, communicating with us to assure that we had a great stay. Wonderful time in Cinque Terre! Also - don’t forget your hiking boots if you want to hike the Cinque Terre trail. The trail from Monterosso to Levante was stunning!

GREAT OLD TOWN MONTEROSSO LOCATION
A cute little apartment on a darling street across from a cute and yummy cafe. Great spot to start your hike to vernazza from! So many great restaurants in the town, so quaint.... My only suggestion for the apartment ... Some larger bath towels and a bath mat would be great additions ...overall LOVED our stay here and would stay again anytime!!
