We LOVED Luisa's apartment. The beautiful views, spacious rooms, nice kitchen and great location that really could not be any better. Every step of the way, Luisa had every answer for us with clear directions. The views are absolutely amazing and the ocean breeze is priceless (careful - make sure the doors don't slam from the breeze when you have them all open!)There are two decent little markets nearby and train station is very close. You will hear the trains, but they are charming. You will also hear the bars and restaurants below but don't worry, Monterosso is not a town that parties all night. Most of all you will love making your coffee in the Bialetti and then having it on the balcony overlooking the sea in the morning with the sounds of the birds and gentle pine-infused ocean breezes.

I read some negative reviews about it being close to the train. There is absolutely nothing in town, which is not close to the train, which is ironic. This place was absolutely perfect and the hostess was incredible. We will definitely be back again next year.The pictures do not do the unit justice. There is not a better view from either of the floors, which look out over the ocean. Restaurants are all within a couple minutes walking distance.The bed and the pullout couch were actually comfortable compared to other places in Italy. For those who left negative reviews about the comfort of the beds, this is Monterosso and I’m pretty sure it is tough to get 1200 thread count sheets. It was fantastic. I have mixed feelings about leaving such a positive review because I am concerned that someone will book the unit the week that we want to go next year. :)

The host was very kind and helpful and provided some necessities as well as some treats. The view was amazing, but the noise level was crazy bad. Children playing in the playground right below the unit at 6:30 AM the garbage collection with glass bottles breaking around the same time. The train is right there and you can hear it at all hours. You also hear the church bells ringing which really did not bother me but might bother some.The unit for the most part was clean. The shower is so small you could barely turn around and the doors were broken, the small fridge door was broken as well as the toilet seat. The double bed was two twin mattresses put together and not very comfortable,nor were the pillows.We really liked the location and the view but would most likely book a different location if we went back, because of the high noise level.
