The suite is brand new renovated, works finished in August 2016. The spacious living room of 45 sqm with comfortable sofa, arm chairs, Smart TV, HiFi/Wi-Fi, AC, relax corner with designer couch serves your lounging. Amazing view from the windows one side to the beautifull architectural environment of the surrounding historical palaces, on the other side to the Gellért hill with the Liberty statue. The dining area in the living room offers space for big breakfasts to start the new day in a good mood or even for an atmospheric dinner together at evening. The elegant bedroom are equipped with king size bed for your relaxation. This en-suite room provides also an exclusive open bath section with classical sink and and XXL size walk-in shower. 1 separated toilet (WC) next to the room outside from the hallway. The apartment was just as expected when we booked. Beautiful historical building. Bed was comfortable. Central to so many things. Once metro was figured out we didn’t have to walk to as many places. Lot of cafes and restaurants just outside of apartment. Would definitely stay here again

The location is superb and the apartment was everything we could have asked for. It was clean and well equipped. Being on the 3rd floor we had a wonderful view of the square below. Despite its central location the apartment was quiet.

We just returned home after a vacation in Budapest staying at the Elizabeth Deco Suite. It was as describe in the app, we easily contacted Tibor with any questions we had during our stay. The location is excellent within walking distance to many places, it is on the bus route and the subway is essentially outside the door. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who is going to Budapest and I am keeping all the info so that we may again rent this if we return.

We so enjoyed staying in this huge apartment in the best neighborhood in Budapest. Just a few blocks from the Danube and near major public bus and train stops, we ended up walking all over and then taking a bus or train back to the apartment. It is in a large building with interesting features and the apartment itself has been lovingly restored. The owner provided excellent directions on getting into the building and up to the apartment as well as restaurant recommendations and advice for seeing the major historic and museum sites. There is a small lift for your bags and we used the stairs for a good aerobic workout and a way to see friendly neighbors in the building the rest of the time. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay in Budapest, and this property was perfect.
Ideal location, extremely fast access to metro, bus, and rail in heart of old city Budapest. For the most part, not needed since the city is very walkable to see the sighs, eat great food, and enjoying relaxing baths. Rain system is excellent so had a nice day in Eger enjoying Hungarian wine country. Tibor was extremely responsive and helpful for suggestions in enjoying the city. Would definitely stay here again!!

This large flat was located perfect to walk to many of the best parts of Budapest. The price and value was fantastic. The property has had many good renovations . I would highly recommend it for extended stay.

Every room shown really is that big. The windows in the living room are huge, look out on interesting roads and buildings (not noisy either). Close to everywhere we went just by walking. Good water pressure and lots of hot water for showers. It is a old building and some areas have been renovated like this apartment while others still need to be renovated. Used Tibor's restaurant guide which was accurate and detailed. Would stay here again!

With 4-5metre ceilings, light from double glazed soaring windows, looking over busy streets and historic buildings, one block from the Danube, this was a real treat. Enter through huge wrought iron gates into past glory, but have a bakery at your door... Easy access to trams and underground and city sights.
Fabulous information available in unit and great communication re early checkin. Highly recommend.

We had the most spectacular stay at this lovely HUGE well appointed apartment. The views of city are gorgeous. The apartment is located in a historic building centrally located with easy access to all the highlights of Budapest. We walked everywhere.. having said that public transport and groceries arr practically right next door. The apartment is updated with all possible amenities… great kitchen and fabulous bathrooms. Tibor is a wonderful responsive host who provides a wealth of information regarding your stay and the city. Do not hesitate to rent this wonderful apartment. It will make you stay in Budapest.

We loved the fact that despite the lively area and busy streets, it was pretty quiet inside the apartment and in the bedroom. Also, we could almost completely darken the bedroom which was great.
We kind of missed a second table for eating as we had to use the dining table for our work equipment which we did not want to move all the time. So another small table close to the kitchen would have been beneficial.
Cleanliness was okay but not the best I've ever seen.

The location was exceptional; close proximity to all forms of public transportation. The facilities themselves were excellent and as promised. My only problem was the stove. I love to cook but the cook top would overheat so quickly, it was virtually useless. Other than that, all other kitchen appliances worked well and as promised. I you want to cook, this may not be the place for you. If your desire is to stay out of the kitchen, I cannot recommend this apartment strongly enough! Happy travels!

Amazing Location
The location of the Elizabeth Deco Suite on the Pest side of Budapest was excellent. You can walk everywhere from here and the metro is right outside the door. The apartment itself is very large and exactly as advertised. It is very well laid out, with everything you might need, and although being on a busy street, it was very quiet. The only downside is the building itself. There are renovations going on, so that may have contributed to the dinginess. There currently doesn't seem to be anyone else living on the floor the apartment is on, and one unit is being renovated, so the floor outside the apartment is quite dark and somewhat gloomy. We had a great time here and, for the price, it was an excellent place to stay.

An elegant space.
This apartment is ideally located for using public transportation and many things are within walking distance. It includes every convenience for a relaxing stay and our host Tibor was very helpful with suggestions. The neighborhood includes many cafes, bakeries, and even a grocery store on the same block. We really enjoyed our stay.

Worth the money.
We enjoyed our stay in this very large, clean and hospitable apartment. Everything was OK. Nothing to complain about. Possible to try to rent again the apartment within 2-3 years when Budapest will have (maybe ) less construction sites. Thank you Tibor!

Fantastic comfortable apartment well located.
We loved this space for our 5 days in Budapest. The host arranged our travel from the airport which was perfect and not expensive and delivered us right to the apartment. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our afternoon down time very much! All transportation is just a few steps outside the apartment ..... buses, metro and cabs. Also so many great places within walking distance. The host had great recommendations too. This is one of our favorite VRBO rentals ever and very reasonably priced.

Perfect apartment in a perfect location
We spent 5 wonderful nights in Tibor’s apartment. Tibor was fantastic in looking after our stay. He was very quick and responsive to all communications giving great peace of mind. He provides great information about how to enjoy your stay. The apartment is magnificent, it is well appointed and beautifully presented. It has wonderful views of city buildings.the apartment is very quiet with very comfortable bed. It is in a great location to walk to many attracations. Also the bus stop and underground is right out the front door. We enjoyed seeing the sights of Budapest, Ezsertgom for a day out and yummy food. I highly recommend this property and hope to return one day.

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location.
This is a beautiful apartment in a great location, and the host, Tibor, had heaps of information on Budapest. You don't need to visit the tourist office! The building is very grand, the only downside would be that the rest of the building is not in as good condition as the apartment. However I can see this changing, while we were there an upstairs apartment was being renovated. The large living room is fantastic with gorgeous old buildings to look at across the street.

Beautiful Apartment; Excellent Location
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Deco Suite apartment. The owner, Tibor, has renovated the space beautifully. The decor is well done and the kitchen was well equipped. It is a very comfortable apartment. The location is ideal. We walked to everything: the Parliament building, Castle Hill, Great Synagogue, Erkel Theater, Opera house. The metro is outside the front. The main pedestrian shopping strips a block away. Two minor improvements would be additional towels and a refrigerator with an ice maker. We recommend this apartment. Timor could not have been any more helpful and accommodating. He even arranged for our transfers to and from the apartment.

Tibor is an excellent host. He sincerely cares about his guests and wants to ensure a comfortable stay. The flat is exactly as pictured. Spacious, quiet, and tastefully decorated. The location is great - metro, bus, grocery markets, bakery, and restaurants right outside. Tibor was very gracious when I had an unfortunate incident with a piece of furniture. Do not hesitate to book this flat (or any of Tibor's other properties) for your visit to Budapest. Highly recommended.

Terrific apartment in Budapest
We stayed for 28 days in this apartment. The apartment is exactly as it looks and was very clean and comfortable. We would recommend this apartment to everyone. A great place to stay in a great location.
The location is in the middle of the downtown and there are restaurants everywhere. The apartment is close to all the sights in Budapest plus there is a bakery, a grocery store (it's easy to shop there even if you do not speak Hungarian!), a great gyro shop right outside your door, and a metro station (the metros are very clean and very safe... easy to buy tickets...easy to get to where you want to go.)
Tibor is a terrific host and very very helpful. He always responded to us quickly if we had any questions. He arranged a young man to meet us when we first arrived who explained how to work the appliances and told us about all the great sites to see in Budapest. When we left Tibor aranged for a driver to pick us up and take us to the airport.This is a great property with a great friendly helpful owner.
We will go definatly go back.
If you have never been to Budapest -- go -- it is a terrific city. Very safe and very clean with terrific sights to see and great restaurants. The Hungarian people are friendly and very helpful. Lots of people speak English so it is easy to order in restaurants and easy to shop, etc.

Wonderful Apartment
We loved this apartment. It was very spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we could have asked for and more. It was in a great location. We were able to walk to a majority of the places we wanted to go due to its central location, and when we did want to take the subway it was literally right out the front door of the building on the corner. It has beautiful views we especially enjoyed at night, and there were several small restaurants and bakeries on the ground floor when we wanted something quick and easy to eat. Tibor was great to work with. He went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable, making excellent recommendations for things like restaurants and boat tours. I highly recommend this apartment for any Budapest stay.

Picture perfect view! Stylish suite in unique historical building! Ideal location!
The picturesque windows in the expansive great room featured dramatic views of historic Ferenciek Square. The rich architectural details of the former Klotild Palace building and it’s twin seemed so close you could almost touch them.
Many thanks to our host Tibor, who was able to accommodate our early arrival in Budapest. He coordinated an early check-in ahead of the normal schedule.
The first and most important question for any traveller is if the actual accommodations are true to the wow factor of its online photos. As noted, the Elisabeth Deco Suite passes the test with flying colors! It’s large, sunny, clean and stylish with a view to die for!
The apartment has modern bathrooms with plenty of hot water. Bedding and pillows were clean and very comfortable – a big plus! Air-conditioning in all living areas was quiet and as cold and comfortable as needed. Guests will find a large flat screen in the living area, along with a radio with good sound for music. Plenty of fresh towels and bedding were supplied. The combo washer/dryer in the apartment was convenient, although English instructions were sorely needed.
Guests will appreciate the unique architectural details of the building’s staircases, hallways and common areas that hint at its former life as a Belle Époque Royal residence for military officers. Also, the cordial clerks downstairs at the Maverick Hostel desk were helpful in printing out free copies of our online concert tickets and flight boarding passes.
Host Tibor conveniently arranged moderately priced transportation services to and from the airport and we only had to pay the driver directly. His thoughtful array of guide books, tour pamphlets and maps was very helpful and illustrated the convenience of the building’s location as well. Multiple transportation options were just outside the building, including bus lines, subway stations and Hop On Hop Off Bus pick-ups, but we enjoyed being within walking distance to almost all the fantastic sites Budapest offers.

The apartment ist situated in a wonderful old building in the center. The apartment is beautifully equiped and very well designed. Comfort is very high! Everything is very clean. Supermarket, bakery are 10 metres, metro and bus station just in front of the door. Perfect location and a very good and helpful host!

Fantastic Apartment - Highly Recommended!
It is with extreme sadness that I write this review, as it means that my stay in this fantastic apartment is coming to an end. After 7 wonderful days in beautiful Budapest, and 7 very comfortable days in this apartment, I leave tomorrow. But not without first highly recommending this property to anyone visiting Budapest. It looks as impressive in real life as the photographs and has all the luxuries that you would have in your own home. The two bathrooms are a real bonus, especially since this is only a one-bedroom apartment, although my traveling companion who was on the sleeper sofa in the living room vouched for its comfort and slept extremely well (a bit too well, which always resulted in us leaving later for our day's activities!). Location could not be better, close to all the major sights, and to all the good eating places - the Jewish quarter is only a 10 min walk, the Gellert and Rudas baths are right across the bridge and for those interested in shopping, there are plenty of shops just a stone's throw away. Metro stop is just underneath the apartment, tram stop also nearby, and there is also a supermarket downstairs for all your daily needs. The best selling point for this property is none of the above though, it is actually the apartment owner. Tibor personally met me - he manages the property himself - and never have I had such a detailed and comprehensive introduction to a rental property than this time. He is truly passionate about and genuinely loves what he does, and being a native of Budapest, knows EVERYTHING about the city. He is always so timely in his response, able to arrange for airport transfers, provides excellent restaurant recommendations and all the tips to make your stay the most enjoyable one. Thank you Tibor - you are an amazing host - and I will certainly return to your apartment the next time I visit Budapest!
