Everthing was perfect , location for Alton , WiFi was great, good home cooked meals ,the staff wer so friendly and the owners wer so helpful , highly recommend this place

This was a lovely place for an overnight stay, easily could spend the weekend here! The reason for booking this was due to it being a work/family trip. Myself and my colleague work in a residential children's home and decided to take our YP on a 2 day trip to Alton Towers to conclude the summer holidays. We needed a facility that gave us 2 separate rooms so a log cabin it had to be and it really did exceed our expectations!

The location was nice, and the staff at the pub was nice and helpful.
This was our honeymoon and when I asked if they could offer anything special they said I would have to pay more. We choose this because it said it was peaceful and quiet, this was not the case for the whole time we were there, we had chainsaws cutting the trees and strimmers. Not exactly relaxing especially when you’re in the hot tub and the workers can see you. We had to go out everyday to get away from the noise. We was given nothing more than the key when we first arrived, no information about facilities etc. On leaving I expressed my issues and thought the manager would come but I was told it will be passed on and they would be in touch, this never happened! To say it was meant to be special occasion we couldn’t wait to go relax somewhere else.
