Great location and very comfortable for a couple of nights. The beach and lots of bars, cafes, restaurants and take aways all within easy walking distance of the property. There's also plenty of convenience stores and a full kitchen at your disposal if you choose to cater for yourself.
It is small, but that's stated in the details. For me it's perfectly fine for a few nights as a couple. Perhaps longer if you're on your own.

Nice quiet street, comfy room. Great shower. Plenty of storage for a small room. Host was very welcoming.
Light over bed was a bit dim for reading, but that's me being picky.
Oh, the washing scent on the towels was a bit strong, but I used my own anyway as I have sensitive skin.

Great location in Hove, close to the beach, restaurants, and cafés. Mark was very flexible and kindly allowed me to access the room before the official check-in time, which was greatly appreciated. The kitchen was also a nice bonus—even though we didn't use it much, it was convenient for making tea and coffee in the morning and having breakfast.
The room was quite small for two people. During the heatwave we needed to keep the window open, but as the room is on the ground floor facing the street, it was quite noisy at night and we didn't sleep very well. Privacy was also limited as we had to keep the shutters closed much of the time.
