For the most part the mini vacation was nice. I felt on edge the entire weekend because of all the strict rules...I have rented from owners through VRBO a lot, never this rental property mang. Felt like we had no privacy with a camera right outside the front door. Make sure you bring paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, firewood and spices. If you loose, or spoil a hand towel you will be charged $15.00 FYI; different prices for the other items. The home is gorgeous we were just all worried about everything. Be sure you drive 4 wheel drive because you are all the way at the top of a mini mountain. Be sure to give yourselves extra time on your departure morning. The normal cleanup, starting dishwasher, stripping beds add... sorting darks from lights and taking them to the laundry room downstairs, and empty all garbage cans including bathrooms. I didn't even go in the hot tub because I was worried I would be charged extra for something.

Huge house with plenty of privacy. Pool table in basement was a great amenity. The rooms were spacious, and the living area was perfect for any large group.

My friends and I enjoyed the spaciousness of the house. The views from the deck were beautiful and the home felt very private. The rules were a bit overwhelming and I felt that the supplied paper products (toilet paper/paper towels) was a bit limited for the size of the home. However, it was all well communicated and we were able to bring extra supplies. We’re looking forward to enjoying the house again.

We had an amazing week in Cle Elum. There is so much to do for a family vacation. Lots of outdoor activities. Great restaurants fun and friendly town. There’s hiking, hanging out at the lake, fly fishing and relaxing at the house. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. You can tell it was stocked by someone who cooks. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. The house had everything we needed. We had a blast with the board games. Amazing view on the balcony so relaxing. Would recommend this house to all our friends. Very family friendly.

Other than the hot tub and the main floor bathroom toilet not working well, the cabin was beautiful and the view was serene. My main issue with this VRBO listing is the management company (VR 365) does not list all the rules on the VRBO site itself. You only see the rules after you initiate the booking with VRBO. The management company should be more up front with their long list of rules, otherwise it feels like a bate and switch.

Beautiful house and location. It was quiet and felt very private. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could want. We loved the house and had an incredible time but some of the following issues might be of more significance to other renters. Very small bathrooms. Things “looked” clean but most surfaces had to be scrubbed down, dirty under or around anything; dead bugs everywhere ( we know this is hard to avoid but there were a lot); horse shoe pit is overgrown and unusable; lower hot tub and BBQ level was unkempt with dirt, bugs, weeds and a broken “deck” board. The listing pictures definitely need to be updated.
But it’s a very beautiful, well appointed home that any group would enjoy. The host and booking were fast and friendly with replying.

We wanted a nice getaway for our family, including me, my husband, mother-in-law, two kids and our dog (Note: We could have fit another family with all the great sleeping options! The beds were very comfortable!) It was a lovely, well-equipped home. We were able to cook all our dinners in the kitchen and grill. The hot tub was warm with a great view! They had fans in each room, AC units in the main area and one upstairs room for when it was warm during the day. The air was nice and cool at night. The owners checked in on us throughout the stay to ensure everything was going smoothly. Very quick responses with any question I had as well.There is a fun game room in the basement that we didn't even get to, because we were out enjoying the lake and town of Cle Elum (don't miss the Telephone Museum, especially if you have kids that didn't know phones were connected to the wall at one point!). For families traveling with toddlers, remember to bring your baby gate for the stairs accessible in the main living area.

We absolutely love loved this cabin! Plenty big enough for our family of 5 adults and mini schnauzer. The hot tub and pool table kept everybody happy during a rainy Thanksgiving. We had a few questions and the property managers responded to our text messages immediately even the one we sent on Thanksgiving day. There were plenty of places to sleep and every bed was comfortable. We loved the small hike up the hill the see a beautiful Lake Cle Elum view! Couple suggestions - bring your laptop so you can use the HDMI cable to connect it their huge smart tv if you want to watch live tv. They have streaming services but no live tv which is generally fine with us except when the Apple Cup is on. Also, they should dig out an easy stone circle fire pit. Currently, I guess you just build your fire on a flat gravel area by the picnic table unless we missed something. We all thought the cabin was pretty perfect and would definitely stay there again!

Recommend home to everyone. Just one small issue, the code to unlock the door is sent via message and/or email and I did not receive cell service outside the home. Once there you have very good WiFi, however, I had to go back towards Roslyn to get a signal in order to get the door code.

We had a fun time at the Cabin and everything was as described. The only thing that was better then described was the A/C units. It said in the description that there was only one portable unit and we were worried since it was 100 degrees the first day. But there were 2 additional units in the upstairs bedrooms making it a lot more comfortable to sleep. It was fun swimming in the lake and cliff jumping. We also used the pool table and hot tub and both were great. I would recommend this place.

Cozy cabin in the woods
We had the perfect size group for this cabin. 7 people total, two couples and plus three more, but could sleep up to 4 couples and two extra, and everyone would have their own bed, but it might start to feel crowded if you have 9 or more people (I think 11 is the max anyway). Beyond our personal living spaces, the common area on the main floor was the perfect size with two comfy couches for everyone to sit around the wood burning fireplace. Great kitchen with everything you need to make meals and snack throughout the day (although, oddly, the only thing we couldn't find was a tea kettle to easily make hot water), and a good sized dinner table to eat or play board games at. There was a TV with a good sound system, but we didn't really use it and wished there was a way to play music through that sound system like there was downstairs. There is a pool table downstairs right inside from the hot tub. We had intentions to play a couple rounds, but never did, but it be an awesome late night hang as long as the person sleeping down there is a night owl. We briefly used the hot tub one night, but it only fits, at the most, maybe 4 people at a time, and is one of those with a lot of contours and jets, not really my style of hot tub. We had intentions to hang out outside by the firepit a bunch, but only ended up doing that for a short time the last night. It was still pretty cold in that area in early May, and the fireplace in the common area was just so cozy! The deck outside the main floor is great, there's a a peekaboo view of Lake Cle Elum and we did some grilling one night for dinner. The biggest hit of the weekend was the herd of elk that hangs out in the small meadow down the driveway from the cabin. Such a magical area of the state with so much natural beauty to enjoy. This is a great base camp for the area (close enough to town and also close to a couple parks - we popped down to the lake and then also walked around Salmon La Sac).

Winter trip
I been trying to get our family to take a weekend off work & hit up the mountain area & rent a cabin. Took me two years to make sure everyone agreed & had a last minute weekend book. This place was amazing. Great location. Nice views. Good amount of snow had fallen so we could experience a winter cabin house. Clean & organized. We definitely would rent again. Now I can only house nice in the summer it be with the lake views from the back yard.

Lovely house with a rustic feel
The house itself was great! The only issue was the access to the lake was closed, so we ended up spending more time on the property than planned which was not a bad thing! The decorations were great and there was plenty of space between the table and chairs to remain inside during the rain.
As mentioned in other reviews, the grill didn't work but luckily I had read the reviews and brought a lighter to manually light it.

Great Cabin in the Woods
We had a great stay at this cabin with beautiful views of Lake Clé Elum. Great location, close to hikes and the Yakima river. We noticed a few quirks though that weren't expecting due to the high price of the property: one of the windows in the bedroom upstairs is missing a curtain, the beds aren't too comfortable and don't have headboards, and the gas grill is broken (would have been great to have matches or a lighter provided so we could manually light). I'd still recommend this property, but hopefully the owners can spruce it up a bit.
